My family of five had Dr. Sager as their family doctor for approximately 35 years. Our experiences with him run the gamut and he is not perfect. But I find some of the negative commentary hard to believe largely over the top. While I obviously have no personal knowledge of those individuals complains, our experience over so many years with Dr. Sager suggests that the complaints are quite exaggerated.

As you get older, you will gradually have an opportunity to see more doctors. None are perfect. And just like every other professional, they all have their good and their bad.

On the whole, Dr. Sager was a very good family practitioner. And I am grateful we had him assisting us for all of these years.

I think he's fine with male patients but I went to him for almost 20ys & saw a change in his behaviour towards women. I thought about calling & complaining as he became quite unprofessional & crossed boundaries in 'My' opinion. I decided to leave his practice years ago & I'm happy I did as I no longer feel I have to hold my breath when seeing my Doctor now. Should have switched once he started to raise his voice & belittle patients in a vulnerable state. I believe he should have retired years ago or perhaps sought his own medical help for his terrible behaviour. Very sad because in the 1980's he was a good Doctor.

I found Dr. Mark Sager to be an extremely embittered and angry man. He submitted me to an exam that can only be called disgraceful and humiliating. He showed NO care in the procedure he performed.
The medical world is well rid of this Doctor (and I use the term loosely). Even though he has retired, I would consider pressing charges against him.
Perhaps his overtly outward bitterness will encourage him to get some sort of professional help. Dr. Sager surely needs it.

Your thoroughness, extensive knowledge, persistency, good humor, kindness, caring & no B.S. I have know Dr.sager for 30+ years he has always been kind , Non-judge mental, and extremely helpful, I’m sad he has retired finding a new Family Doctor is going to be very difficult.

He is very experienced doctor. He deals with issues very maturely. i am foreign graduate doctor so i believe my comment can help many. He is not a people pleaser for sure. but he perform his duties diligently. I doesn't hesitate to touch patient as most of the new comers do now a days. I totally recommend him to everyone.

Having been a patient for more than 40 yrs, I have had all my ups and downs seen and heard by you Doc. You have seen me through all my medical needs; sent me to the best consultants, Yes you are late sometimes bu heck you deserve it.

Whomever leaves a 5-star rating about this doctor is either paid or a relative. No, Dr. Sager is not thorough which is a bad thing. If you are breathing, your heart is beating and you are on your two feet you are absolutely fine. He doesn't go much beyond that no matter how terrible you feel and what the hospital emerg says. I just don't feel he much cares or wants to spend time.
