This man told me my problem was all in my head after running only 3 simple, basic blood tests. Went to another Doctor and had it further investigated and they found a brain tumor. Yeah it was all in my head, but not the way you made it sound like you QUACK! This man could have been responsible for my death if I hadn't seeked out a second opinion.

Blunt at times and seems rude. Stubborn and sometimes seems to not listen to you. Needs better manners at times. Will always make time to see you on short notice. Checks up on you daily when in the hospital. Knowledgeable. Seems to be a bit old to practice but has an amazing amount of energy for his age. Everyone knows him and he has extensive contacts with other doctors to get you to specialists. A very good doctor. But always get a second opinion if something serious is diagnosed.

I have had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Wilon's patient for over 35 years. There a very few Dr's that take the time @ 10:30 at night to phone you and ask why you needed medical assistance at the Emergency Room. When hospitalized for over 7 weeks, he came in to see me everday without fail. He has treated all of my family faithfully for the last 28 years and we are blessed to have him as our GP!!

THIS DR WILL ISSUE ANY MEDICINE YOU ASK FOR BUT WONT TEST YOU OR CHECK YOU NEED IT. HE PRESCIBED ME AHDH MEDS WITHOUT ANY TESTING OR SPECIALIST REFERRAL. HE ALSO DIDNT LET ME KNOW THE RESULTS OF A PREGNANCY BLOOD TEST - I HAD TO PHONE AND CHECK WITH THE LABS AS HE SAID IT SHOULDNT MATTER WHAT THE RESULT WAS AND HE DIDNT HAVE TIME TO CALL ALL PATIENTS WITH THEIR RESULTS. AWFUL AWFUL MAN AND SURGERY.

I went to Dr Wilson about a Shoulder issue which he quickly diagnosed as FROZEN SHOULDER that was back the end of February. It is now 5 months later and after several enquiries about an ultra sound he flatly refused siting it was FROZEN SHOULDER he did a full body scan (nothing to do with my shoulder) I've gone to him several times about the pain and suffering and his solution was percocet. I don't like to take them as I fear addiction. Again I went for another reason and asked again about an ultra sound and was denied. I just recently went to a walk in clinic and was sent immediately to ultra sound.I received the results and I have two subtotal tears in the subscapulis and the supraspinatus tendons the tears are being bridged by a few remaining fibres. Now I'm told I will need surgery to repair something that could have been fixed with physio therapy back when it actually happened.OLD,STUBBORN,HARD of HEARING. Receptionist is rude cold and uncaring. Not the least bit confidential.

I went to Dr Wilson about a suspicious mole after my brother-in-law died of melanoma. Dr Wilson basically pat me on the head and said it was probably nothing. Thankfully I moved out of Coquitlam a couple months later, found a new Doctor who although also thought it was probably nothing, listened to my concerns, removed it and sent it for biopsy. She had the misfortune of having to give me the news that is was stage II malignant melanoma and booked me for surgery that happened the following week. I truly believe changing Doctors saved my life and although I don't blame Dr Wilson for not taking action and removing the mole, I do wish more Doctors were aware of the dangers and the warning signs.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wilson since moving to the Tri-Cities in the 1980's. I would rate him as being the best Dr. I have ever had & certainly very caring. He goes out of his way to help his patients. Last year he even visited me in hospital on Christmas day & boxing day. He's the best!

I've been with doctor Wilson since i moved to BC and he did try to make it to my appendectomy however they went ahead with it anyways without him, which annoyed him. However I have had persistent symptoms for several years and sometimes get the feeling that he is not listening and just wants you in and out of the office. If you doubt his judgment I recommend you get a second opinion it cant hurt. He's older and somewhat hard of hearing I agree he has been a doctor longer than my parents have been alive! You have to get straight to the point and speak clearly. If you're younger it might do you good to find someone who's going to be around longer. However I can't say he's ever been wrong. He's just a bit stubborn at times and he has a bit of an old fashioned Scottish attitude, understandably. His daughter the receptionist Jayne is always polite to me and shes not rude. Like I say if you doubt his judgment get a second opinion but more than likely you will end up back at his office.

This doctor and his assistant Jayne are EXCEPTIONAL! Dr. Wilson is very thorough, takes time to review your file, identifies pertinent tests & investigations, connects you quickly to specialists, engages with them to discuss possible diagnosis, and stays curious and up-to-date with your case. I brought a complex medical issue to Dr. Wilson and he asked to have time to review my file, then we got down to business. His assistant Jayne is able to get you in anywhere quickly, and knows a lot about various tests, exams, and surgery. In the 4 months I have been seeing Dr. Wilson, I have moved further ahead on my health issues than 9 months with another doctor. Dr. Wilson is older but he is rock solid and sets the standard for what a doctor should be. When I had surgery, he scrubbed in with the General Surgeon. I'm on my way to resolving my health issues, thanks to Dr. Wilson, Jayne, and the fabulous specialists they know. Bless you, Dr. Wilson and Jayne! Bless you!!

Dr. Wilson is a very caring and experienced physician that I've ever met. He assisted performing my total abdominal hysterectomy last month. His bedside manner is excellent, and his calmness and attentive attitude made my operation and recovery a good experience. While I was in the hospital, he visited me every single day even in a freezing morning. He is definitely the BEST. I am extremely thankful for his care. I highly recommend him. Thanks Dr. Wilson and God who sent him to me.
