He is very caring and calm. Interested in the cause, not just prescribing pills.

Does not follow up with paitients. Lack of interest lately towards concerns of paitients and families

I tend to agree with the negative reviews about Manhas ,his main concern towards the elderly is almost none existent.he made a diagnosis of a cold sore ,this ended up being removed by a dermatologist.This was a form of skin cancer that had formed on a lower lip .being a GP and not doing anything that is outside his limited area of knowledge is what he does .I feel he collects a commission on the amount of prescriptions that he issues .would I let my parents be looked after by this quack....NO but my in laws are under his third world idea of care.he is a piece of work .

His listening skills are excellent, very sympathetic to your ailment is not condescending and is very polite. Gives a thorough examination before giving his prognosis and treatment. Besides being an MD he also has a degree in Pharmaceuticals so he's very good when it comes to prescribing medicine.

Dr. Manhas has been my parents' doctor since he started practicing in Chemainus. He has been an empathetic and practical physician who has helped this family deal with the decline and subsequent transition of both. He has taken personal time to meet with family to make decisions more easily. We are very grateful to him and his office staff for their dedication and going the extra mile

I feel very lucky to have Dr Manhas as my family doctor. He listens first and then follows with a diagnosis or a docket for xray/bloodwork etc. Extremely nice man to deal with, much nicer than many others I have been in contact with.

A real decent guy but like all too many family GP's, he lacks real inquisitiveness and the desire to solve a health puzzle. Far too dismissive and lacking determined follow up. Dr. Broere is the benchmark in this clinic. The others seem generally focused on turning the meter over and collecting their "commission". Whatever happened to pride in your profession. People come to you to for guidance and thorough follow up.
