If you are looking for a doctor to know a lot about complicated issues such as endometriosis look further. He is in fact a great doctor for uncomplicated issues. Ad stated below, he doesn't compromise with treatment and insist on treatment but then hesitates to provide treatment. I did have 2 surgeries by him and I felt better but didn't last for long. His bed side manner was great before my last visit. Unfortunately, he has been my doctor for years. I am saying good bye to his practice due to the lack empathy for patients in pain with this disease.

Dr. Wilcox does not give patients options, he gives them ultimatums. Not all pregnancies are the same and it is unfortunate that he lacks appropriate bed side manners to work with those who are hesitant to proceed with his prescribed treatment and reach a compromise.

As a person, doctor, whatever, during the exam, Dr. Wilcox is amazing. However, it was kind of annoying that they never called me to tell me the results of my tests...even though there wasn't anything to worry about. I spent way too much time worrying over it! Also, I made it clear that I was a broke college student, and I wanted a birth control pill that was low-cost. I picked up my rx this month, a one-month supply, and it was 90 bucks. WAY OUT OF MY BUDGET. I don't need anything special, but I feel like I was just given this pill because it's what he was supposed to push.

Doctor Wilcox has been my doctor for 3.5 years and has delivered both my children as well as my nephew and 2 of my friends children. He is very friendly and even answers questions via email. He is always willing to answer any questions I have and I trust his advice. My husband even likes him. I have never been comfortable with a male OB/GYN doctor, but Doctor Wilcox always makes me feel comfortable. He even changed his surgery schedule when I went into labor with my 2nd child so he could deliver her. He also stayed past his shift to make sure my nephew was delivered safely by C-section. My family considers him a friend. I find him very knowledgeable although he doesn't always give me the answer I want he has always given me the care I need. To me that is what makes a good doctor.
