Dr. Nel is the most caring and patient doctor. I would recommend him to anyone with gastro issues. I have had Crohn's for many years and he has gone above and beyond to ensure I received the best care possible.

I have been seeing Dr. Nel since 2015 and he is wonderful. His office runs on time and the staff are nice and always professional. He diagnosed my illness and offered treatment that has me feeling well and in complete remission.

If it wasn't for this man......I know my mom wouldn't be alive today!!
10 years ago my mom couldn't swallow anything, she would be choking on water. She was rushed to Regina and saw Dr. Nel. Within 24 hours my mom had a peg tube put in place after multiple tests. My mom was 78 years old and in good health but not one doctor she had seen thought anything of her major weight loss in a couple months, nor did they take any kind of scans. so After Dr Nel completed the scans and tests on mom he came to me and informed me that mom's brain was full of stroke spots which is why my moms throat finally gave out. I have personally dealt with Dr. Nel for all the Years and i would never change a thing. He is amazing, and has been nothing but kind and never cuts any corners. He's straight up ( Which is what I like ) no matter what and i would recommend him to anyone. Everyone has their own opinion and everyone has their own right to their opinion, but i would have to say with true honesty, that if there is a reason for him being anything but kind or caring, then there must be a reason coming from your end on that. Dr. Nel is the most caring Doctor I have ever had the opportunity to come into contact with. He will forever be a cherished person in my life for what he has done for my mom over the past 10 years and still to this day, does everything for her that she may require. Truly an Amazing Doctor !!

I waited a year to see this man after reading the reviews on this site and refusing to see anybody else.
Well let me tell you the positive reviews are bang on accurate. His office personnel in my telephone dealings with them were polite, understanding and helpful; not the norm in Regina at all. I met the man in the procedure room for my 3rd colonoscopy; the first by him. Colon cancer runs in my family and I had a positive FIT test result warranting another peek. I wanted to watch so only took the minimal amount of sedation. Dr. NEL was AWESOME!!!. Introduced himself was very polite and caring and I was very comfortable during the procedure. He kept asking how I was doing and explained what he was seeing during the procedure thoroughly. I will need a colonoscopy every 3 years and I am blessed this man will be doing them for the forseeable future. We need more Doctors like Dr. NEL in this town. I dunno what lead him to Regina but I’m glad he stayed. He is without a doubt the best gastroenterologist in the city. If you need one of these guys Dr. NEL should be the only one you should agree to see..😬👍👍👍

Dr. Nel is the kindest most caring doctor I have ever seen. He truly cares about you as a person and it's very apparent that he wants to help people be well. We are so very fortunate to have him in Regina.

I saw Dr. Nel a couple of times while I was in the hospital. He has a great way of putting you at ease and making you feel comfortable with the procedure. Great staff along side him.
