While pretty well retired now, he's an amazing surgeon. Did a number of surgeries on a bad knee of mine, saving as much cartilage as possible until he finally had to take it. Beautiful scars, look like a natural wrinkle around the knee. Ok he is like the absent minded professor at times, forgot to sign prescription when leaving hospital but pharmacy filled it, cause it was him. Almost forgot to sign me out before Christmas, until I said I was leaving and the nurses found him. He forgot I was still there, just knew 2 other patients weren't leaving...BUT...no one knows more about knees, hips and repairs to bones after accidents than Dr. Fyfe. Saved a friend's leg when another ortho doc wanted to cut it off! Had my aunt up and around in weeks after a hip replacement not months. Long waits in his office were common as he was called to ER constantly. Long waits at his ortho clinic due to number of patients. But still would see him again if I needed to before anyone else.
