I had been directed to him via my regular doctor for my newborn. Before even confirming that this is where we would take our child he spent a good hour on the phone with us going over care for our premature baby. He does not beat around the bush he gets the job done. We have been very happy with him and his staff. Very calm personality, I like that so that I stay calm along with the baby.

I have been going to Dr. Letvack for about four years. I like him. He has a different kind of personality but no matter what I go to him for I am always satisfied. He is very down to earth and always explains in detail his response. If I need something...I get it. I am not a person that likes to take medicine so I think that is why we get along so well. He is not one for giving out unnecessary RX's and I'm fine with that...I don't like them anyway but I do like him! Honest and dependable.

Did not return calls in a timely manner and ignored medical symptom complaints

Dr. Letvak is a straight shooter with his opinion, but his bedside manner is not always very good when presenting it. He is willing to do requested tests even if he may not totally agree with doing them and will alter his recommendation a little if you have objections to certain things. He doesn't seem to be pushy with drugs if the situation allows for it. He's a decent doctor, but he seems to be pressed for time so he doesn't always let you fully explain all symptoms before discussing it.

Dr. Letvak has always responded to my concerns in a professional and clear manner; making sure I understand his instructions. Recently I took a trip out of state which required my hospitalization; Dr. Letvak called me personally twice with his recommondations. I truly appreciate his excellent care.

Very caring and helpful. He took his time and made sure I understood everything he perscribed and why. He was very good about communicating all tests with my other doctor.
