"Doctor" Toni Hero and her associates refused to see me after I had multiple mental breakdowns with them over the phone. They claimed I was rude after they told me the first visit would start me at $200. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor's office EVER.
If that is how they treat their suicidal patients, it would surprise me to know any of them have survived and are alive today. I would never nor will EVER recommend Toni Hero or any of her associates to anyone, especially those with any kind of mental illness.

My experience with Dr. Hero was one of the worst I have had with any doctor. She is rude, condescending and has no interest in listening to the patients symptoms to determine what the best course of action is. She is quick to judge and once she has made up her mind there is no further discussion. I went to her with a list of symptoms (classic gallbladder symptoms) that I wanted to discuss with her. When I mentioned that I had a list to go over she rolled her eyes. I suggested that we look further into the gallbladder possibility. She referenced the results from my ultrasound that was over a year old at that point, and prescribed me an antidepressant. I left feeling extremely frustrated and immediately found another doctor who ordered a HIDA scan to test the functionality of my gallbladder and mine was functioning at 7% (normal is 33-40). I suffered 9 months of unnecessary pain because of her closed mindedness. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone.

She had a terriable bedside manner. I feel she is very aggressive almost as if I was being attack. I got no medical advice and left her office in tears.

Rude staff - every time, not just once. Doctor is knowledgeable, but there is little to no discussion or camaraderie regarding your own care... it's her way or the highway. And you'd be best to not ask questions. She'll hear you out, but again, there is no discussion.... whether you have a research-based question/concern or not. Decent doctor, but I always walked out feeling like I wasted her time.

I was very surprised to read the extremely negative reviews of Dr. Hero. I have found her to be a great listener and more than willing to field my many questions. I have only been seen for routine issues, however, so couldn't speak to more serious health concerns. She is definitely honest and no-nonsense. It is obvious to me that she is very caring and compassionate but she also is going to spend much time sugar-coating. I am not surprised to read the review regarding the diabetic husband. All in all, I have stuck with her and been happy after no luck with 3 other PCPs in the area.

Dr Hero is very kind and makes you feel like you're important while you're in her office. I have always been able to make an appointment wihtout much wait, often times I can get in same day. at my first visit she came in and spent about 20 minutes introducing herself to me and finding out what it was I needed. She seems to always be very open to questions and listens to you and your concerns fully before answering and explaining what she is doing or what needs to be done. I felt that as a patient I mattered to her and did not feel rushed or like an annoyance to her - and I ask lots of questions! She seems to appreciate patients being champions for their own health and is happy to assist in that.
