I have had severe pain for years. He diagnoised and treated the problem. I am able to use my hands again with much less pain. He and his staff were very helpful. I would definately recommend him. He did run a lot of blood tests which help pinpoint my proble.

I found Dr. Walaliyadda to be very helpful and knowledgeable and I have been seeing him for seven years now. He has been very patient, explains the reasons for his diagnosis and the medications he prescribes. He has done well with the medications and understands their uses and limitations. He is gentle in his treatment(he drained a swollen knee three times without undue pain). After being a patient for seven years, I find my experience to be the polar opposite of the other reviewers. I can't say enough good about him. One thing that might have helped me is that I thoroughly researched my disease - AS - and my treatment options so I feel I had a fairly realistic idea of what to expect. I am also someone who feels that the Doctor/Patient relationship is a partnership and can't be successful without the participation of both parties. Overall, he has helped me a great deal.

Saw me for 5 minutes intitial visit and charged $345. Scheduled another appointment and I requested that he order blood tests, but his office never called with the results. I finally got the results myself and went to another doctor. I could not be more dissatisfied.

Over the past 2 years I needed to contact the Dr or staff 3 different times. Dr or staff only returned 1 of those 3 phone calls. A sign in their office says they need 1-3 days just to call in refills!! And good luck actually seeing or talking to the Dr himself, I had only seen or spoken with his PA for several months before I left their practice. This Dr was one disappointment after another for me, and I finally got fed up with the unreturned phone calls, among other things and found a Dr that I have been very happy with.

This Doctor is not prone to understanding the needs of the patient. He does not seem to understand the causes of arthritis and preventing the progression of it.
