This doctor dosen't know the word welcome. He made me feel like I was losing his time, reminding me how good and important he is after writing 2 books and beeing the top in that hospital. Apparently, he did not appreciate the suggestions of my general practician who wrote him a note concerning my symptoms because he said ''I am the one that make diagnostic''. Very pedant.

Super busy but very respectful. I told him I wanted to treat myself using the least drugs possible and felt that naturopathy may be able to help me. He was kind but firm and asked me to give him an honest chance. I did and now I feel like a different person. He was very respectful, approachable, intelligent and personable. I have told 3 other people with problems about him and would not hesitate to tell others. That's the least amount of time I ever spent in the waiting room. In a nutshell, very caring and competent.

I was refered to Dr. Wild through my rheumatologist and am very grateful to have falen on such a wonderful doctor. Yes, he's quick but lets face it, look at the mandate of QC specialists! When I have my God awful colonoscopy done every 6 months I am very happy that Dr. Wild is there with his sweet and gentel voice calming me down and informing me every step of the way. I wouldn't go to anyone else!

Truly an outstanding and compassionate doctor who first diagnosed me with Crohn's disease and has been following me and supporting me for the past 10 years.

Have filled in the "Knowledge" field as it's required, but really cannot assess this. My first ( and last, for sure) appointment was amazing. Dr. Wild is, in my opinion, a wildman...he raced into the packed waiting room , shouted my name and raced back along a corridor and into a room, where I could not find him!! Once I found him, he did not look at me, did not respond to my greeting or apologize for running on ahead. He glanced at my file, and asked when my Quebec health insurance would begin ( I had recently moved from another province). He then said we should have another appointment in a month or so, stood up and walked out...charming. Needless to say, we never had another appointment and I was referred to a more civilized gastroenterologist. I see some positive comments re. this man, so it appears he has his good and bad days...would not want him near me for a colonoscopy on one of his bad days.

Was a patient for many years. Very smart doc. but thinks people, without MD after their name, are plain stupid. He was condescending, hurtful. As with others, told me it is in my head. After going private, I am now with a new doc who answers my questions, takes me seriously, discusses treatment options and takes his time. I think Gary needs a long vacation. And he should watch the movie "Doctor" with William Hurt.

Mean man. He missed diagnosed me and claimed my problem was " all in my head ". Went happily to another Gastro and was diagnosed with Crohn's and ended up having resection surgery...Terrible bedside , rude and did not care about my symptoms. STAY AWAY!

Have been a patient of Dr Wild's since 1997. If you're ever going to have a colonscopy or endoscopy he is the Dr you want to perform it. Kind, gentle and caring and is the only Dr at the General that you leave with your results in hand. Extremely knowledge in many fields of medicine. Would recommend him highly

Dr Wild is a fantastic doctor. He always has time for me and has tiredlessly helped me get into remission and stay that way for over 2 years. My only wish is that there could more Dr Wild's out there to help even more people with debilatating digestive disorders. Top Marks for Dr Wild!
