Dr. Lalla has been my GP (general practitioner) for some 25 years. She is a kind, caring, and professional human being. She is knowledgeable in many fields of medicine but never hesitates to refer her patients to the proper specialists when needed, then follows through with her patients afterward. I would recommend her to anyone...She is terrific!!

Dr. Layla saved my life!
15 years ago, I saw her for my first exam in many, many years. A blood test revealed a high sugar level. I was pre-diabetic. Dr. Lalla took the time to explain what was wrong with my diet. Bread, Pasta, any thing with flour would turn to sugar. She advised me on a proper diet, and I lost 40 lbs.
I’ve seen her every year since and think she is a fabulous doctor.

Dr.Lalla never rushed me (i don't know why others complain about her rushing. All my questions and concerns always got answered). Anything that i am worried about, i get great referrals and they are done quickly.
It is true that punctuality is an issue, however since i dont know the reason behind it, I cannot rate it horrible nor good. (We dont know if there was an emergency or not that was a priority over a simple check up for me... so i cannot really complain about that).
Always has a smile.

My husband and I have been patient of Dr. Lalla since we arrive here in Canada. All we can say is she is very caring and easy to talk to. We followed her when she transferred from Medistat to St Mary's Hospital .We love her and will continue getting treatment from her as our family doctor.

Her secretaries are rude and always have been. She never respects appointment dates and always cancels last minute. These appointments already hard to come by and we have to wait a long time.Therefore, canceling so often truly is the worst!It is sad and unfortunate that things such as this is going to start blemishing her reputation because truly she is a good knowlegeable doctor that makes you feel comfortable in the room with her. However, she needs to make herself available to her patients and stop taking on more and more clients before she can help the ones she already has. Also, her secretaries need to stop being so rude and unprofessional (you don't talk to patients or anyone in that way), she needs to RESPECT her appointments with her clients and a better job on the follow-up. I shouldn't have to keep on calling to find out what my results were for a a scan or a blood test...a sufficient amount of time has gone by, i know they have been set already so why no phone call?

Been a patient for years, along with my children who are grown now. She seems to lost her touch as a caring Dr. to someone who has no time to even respond to her messages , to much time in waiting room and not enough time with patients, very rush in services, to much time on personal phone calls when your sitting in the room, so again waiting for services. Secretaries , upstairs, for her are very rude, and lack people skills . Not a professional , caring place to be .

My senior mother has been seeing her for 10 years and loves her. Dr Lalla diagnosed my mum when an ER Dr said she had nothing. Just by the sound of her voice. Also Dr Lalla squeezed my mum into her schedule on one days notice. Sorry you all will have to wait more. I called Dr Lalla to tell her what my mum has been up to and she judged that it was best to see her quickly. You have to wait because of a real suicide risk.To me she is beyond and above punctual Please don't get mad with Dr.Lalla. If you have to wait... be glad it's not you who NEEDS to be squeezed in

Never available, even when you have an appointment it most likely will get cancelled. If you're lucky it may get rescheduled for a few moths later otherwise you are on your own. Also, count on being see at best 30 to 60 minutes after your scheduled appointment time.
