I could not have had a more miserable experience with Dr. Grant and his receptionist. The day before my appointment his receptionist phoned me to ask if I could switch my appointment from 12:30pm to 9:00am, as the doctor had a clinic directly after my appointment. I told her that unfortunately I wasn't available to come in prior to 12:30pm. She then snapped "Well make sure you're not late!". The next day I was in an Uber on my way to the hospital when my phone rang at noon. It was the receptionist, telling me that it was important that I arrive 10 or 15 minutes early, because the doctor was on a tight schedule. At that moment, the Uber got into an accident with another vehicle. I told the receptionist what had just happened, and that I would phone her back. 10 minutes later, in a new Uber, I phoned to say that I was on my way again, and that I would be there by 12:30pm. She actually screamed at me, "you need to arrive early! Dr. Grant has a clinic to get to!" She showed no empathy or compassion for the fact that I had just been in an accident! When I arrived (at exactly 12:30pm), the doctor entered the room without greeting me, and rushed me through my appointment in less than 5 minutes. He could not have been less caring. Do yourself a favor - stay away from this doctor and his receptionist.

Dr. Kevin Grant is an AMAZING doctor AND human being. He is genuinely true to his trade, just as a professional surgeon should be. Other so called medical professionals should be looking to learn from him and should have the decency to line up in front of him and lay their fancy pens/scalpel on his desk. I'm as serious as a heart attack when I say God put him on this world for a reason AND he is a "MEDICAL GENIUS"!!!!! This is my word of honor to ALL of you reading this. Dr. Kevin Grant is the real deal and people have nothing to worry about.
I have had my 1st back surgery with the good Doctor back in 2016. After a recent fall, I've been recommended to other surgeons only to be furthered let down. I'm gonna stop playing around with these fools that can't even show me they're serious about my condition and call this man like I should've from the beginning. See you soon Doc!

Dr Kevin Grant saved my mom and us. My mom had a terrible case of lumbar spine herniation. She had been bed ridden for three months because of severe pain prior to seeing Dr. Grant. Through the Rapid Assessment Clinic for Lower Back pain, we were able to get a referral to see dr.Grant at a relatively earlier date, yet Dr. Grant’s sweet receptionist called us when there was a cancellation of a sooner appointment. After seeing by the doctor, he arranged for my mom’s operation 9 days later! When he empathized with how much my mom was suffering. The surgery was a success and he was very good at what he does. Now it’s almost 2 month post surgery, my mom is recovering well, minimal numbness. We are so grateful of Dr. Grant and his team. He is an angel. If you are going through similar condition, ask to be referred through the Rapid Assessment Clinic for Lower Back Pain program via your family doctor.

My Mother-in-law and I have both gone to see Dr. Grant on two separate occasions.
We both suffer from back issues. My Mother-in-law is most recent so we went to see him on April 29th. for her and She quotes "After a night of unrest, worring about my results, Dr. Grant was able to help me relax with his tone and pleasant manner. He was very knowledgeable about my condition and not in a rush to do surgery. You see I was just finishing up with a broken ankle and he felt it best to deal with one thing at a time, to my relief. We will wait to see how I fair once I am back on my feet again. I would recommend him to anyone suffering with back issues."

Let me start by saying that my family knows Dr. Grant very well. My husband has had two back surgeries with him and my sister in law also had sugary with him. He was fantastic with both of them. But this story has to do with my mom. First off his receptionist Ingrid was amazing! She was so helpful in expediating everything for my mother. She was kind, caring and genuine. We saw Dr. Grant today and he was funny, energetic and approachable and KNEW his stuff. While she does have spinal stenosis, (everyone in her age group of 75 will) he wasn't convinced it was her back that was causing her incredible leg pain. He was convinced it was her right hip, so he sent us for a quick x-ray and his suspicion was true. He is referring us to a hip surgeon right away. He called me personally today and said "don't worry, we will make sure your mom is taken care of" AND he also wished me an enthusiastic mothers day. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Ingrid and Dr. Grant.

I was sent to Dr.Grant from the Pinnacle Health Centre. The first conversation with his receptionist was a horrible experience. She is rude and aggressive. Laughed at me for having issues with going to ER as I have no surrounding support and I was afraid to go. So I told her how I felt about the way she was talking to me and she got more rude. So I went and got my MRI. I called to let the doctors know I had my MRI results and she her response was
“Who ordered the MRI?” I said the ER doctor. Her response was “hahaha I thought you weren’t going to the ER.” Literally that was her response. It’s like everything is an argument with her. I just wanted help because I need surgery ASAP. Now I have to find a new surgeon and start the whole process over again. Thanks receptionist who hates her job and feels like it’s okay to laugh at patients and mock them. Laugh it up. Karma is real. Cheers.
