Dr. Barloon fixed my husband's detached retina. He is a highly skilled, excellent surgeon! Our family highly recommends him. Thank you, Dr. Barloon for saving this precious eye. His staff was very skilled, kind and sympathetic.

Doctor did not seem interested in helping me. He was quite arrogant and thought highly of himself and didn't bother spending any time listening to me and simply rushed out the door before I had a chance to ask any questions about the medication. I had a minor eye injury that didn't need surgery, so I guess I wasn't worth his time.

I found Dr. Barloon extremely sympathetic, helpful and skilled. During retinal reattachment surgery he kept me updated as he moved through the surgery and answered several questions. I had no pain, but could follow the procedure. I also felt reassured before he began by his sincere manner. I also appreciated the staff who I found quick, polite and answered my questions if able.

Dr. Barloon was very nice, however, he did not relate all the risks of surgery for a macular hole and as a result I received a damaged and blind eye forever because of a dye he uses called Indocyanine green dye. He simply said there were risks, and I trusted him. There are many reports about the dangers of using this dye and regardless if he never had a problem before now I am blind in one eye because he didn't give me the chance to research it's use. I would have chosen not to have the dye used if I had researched it on the internet. Everyone should ask such questions and not take the chance of him using it. I wish I had.

I have been in Dr. Barloons care for over 2 years for Diabetic retinopathy - he has be great in eplaining why he treats it the way he does, he listens to all my concerns and really cares what is going on. His staff is young but they are outstanding and very friendly! he is probably the best Doctors I see.

Doctors don't have time to explain anything to you, questions are cut off with no explanation and they seem irritated when you ask them questions. Staff is equally rude and unhelpful as well.

Dr. Barloon is an outstanding surgeon whose skills repaired my retinal detachment due to a sports-related injury. His care was thorough and he provided enough information to alleviate any concerns or fears. Even though Dr. Barloon had a weekend trip to California scheduled, he cancelled his own plans to address my emergent problem. I credit him with saving the vision in my right eye!

the best Dr. I have ever known with the bed side manner, care of well being and commitment to patients health. Top rated in the U.S and it shows.I would not see anyone else as I drive 70 miles just to be in his care. His reception and some of the staff may seem young but they don't do the surgery's. Really, He is the BEST IN TOWN.
