We had a difficult experience with our very ill child at OSMH under the care of Dr. H. He was the pediatrician & while I'm sure he has a good knowledge base, I would not recommend him. He laughed outright at one of my questions -which he did then apologize for but how is a parent supposed to feel comfortable asking questions when that is the reaction they get? He dismissed the amount of pain she was in and tried to tell us that her perception of pain was more acute bc she was only laying in bed whereas if she was playing soccer and got kicked in the shin causing the same amount of pain, she would hardly notice. I was about ready to give him a good kick in the shins!

He told me my daughter was retarded and I should be lucky if she finishes High School, Not developmentally delayed...retarded .........After waiting almost 2 hours to see him, he spent less than 5 minutes with her.

I have to echo what most of the other parents have already said. Hudak is arrogant and dismissive. Not only is his bedside manner unacceptable, but his dismissiveness to parents concerns puts children at risk.
Avoid this doctor if possible.

Dr. Hudak was very rude and ignorant. He made me feel stupid for being so concerned about my sick child (who has serious medical issues). Bedside manner is so poor.

Hudak is a terrible Pediatrician. I'm sure he has endless amounts of knowledge but its blocked my complete arrogance and unwillingness to admit he made a mistake. I honestly could not stand the idea of having him as a ped for my daughter so got out before too late.

Dr Hudak is arrogant and dismissive to concerned parents of sick children. I am sure that he is very knowledgable however he lets his ego get in the way of his job. Avoid this doctor if at all possible.

Dr.Hudak has taken care of my son since he was little. He is very knowledgable when it comes to my sons diagnosis of down syndrome. He always makes us feel welcome when we come for check-ups and makes my son laugh and feel comfortable which is very important to me and him. Yes I will admit that he may not be on time for every appointment but what doctor is? I totally understand how busy doctors can be and believe that if we needed a bit more time in the office, I would hope that the next family would understand and have patients as they would want the same care for their child too. I would definately recommend Dr. Hudak to everybody I know.

Saw Dr Hudak in Timmins when my daughter was admitted - he was rude and inconsiderate to a worried parent. After being arrogant with me he told me that my daughter did not have rotavirus however he would test her . The following day a different dr confirmed that she did in fact have it. He belittled me as a parent
