I have heard about Dr Lyons from other doctors that i have seen for the last 20 years at Florida Orthopedic. Dr Gasser and Dr Sellman, whom I trust very much have told me about Dr Lyons for years. They stated that when it is time to have my knee replaced, I need to visit with Dr Lyons. They were right. My visit was so professional from Lisa at the front desk, Staci, who was incredible and took care of all I would need for my surgery and Jeannette,, Dr Lyons nurse was incredible and they were all so nice and friendly. Dr Lyons was very concise and explained everything that my wife and I asked in a manner that left us comfortable that he was the right Doctor with the right team to have my knee replaced.

I've been seeing Dr. Lyons for years now. He educated me and helped me make the right decision for me. His staff is amazing, especially his MA Jeannette. Her people skills are amazing.

I've been with Dr Lyons' team for 10 years covering two hip, one knee replacement and three iterations of gel shots to my other knee. He and his outstanding staff (Jeanette and Lisa) have been my saviors and my body continues to respond to the abuse of thirty years in Joint Special Operations (military). Thanks to you all.

I called to book an appt and was able to get one the next week. Upon my arrival I was greeted by the nicest front desk rep named Lisa. She walked me through the whole check in process. Once coming to the room I was greeted by Dr. Lyons nurse Jeannette, I observed her with other patients and hoped she was my nurse too. The level of caring and knowledge was amazing. She even held my hand for my knee injection. Dr. Lyons knew I was nervous (I am sure Jeannette informed him) he spent so much time explaining my diagnosis and the injection was painless. Being in the medical field I know its a hard and thankless job but Dr. Lyons practice has it together and you feel like family by the end of your visit. I will be a patient for LIFE.

I have been seeing Dr Lyons since 2004. I have had 2 knee replacements and a hip replacement since then. My husband will be having a hip replacement in July. We have always had wonderful care. Dr Lyons is very knowledgeable, explains everything in terms you can understand. His assistant, Jeanette has been with him since I started going to him. You rarely find that, it makes for a great team and great outcomes!

Dr. Lyons, his most able assistant, Jeannette, and the entire Florida Orthopedic (FO) staff were OUTSTANDING throughout my entire knee replacement process. From gel injections, through PT, to final replacement they consistently demonstrated care for me as a person and patient. I strongly recommend this FO team for all knee and hip problems. Unfortunately I had a disappointing visit with Dr. Lyons. Moving from Michigan I had to find a new Orthopaedic Dr. to administer Euflexa injections to both knees. For some reason Dr. decided to use a different medication in the injection to my knees. I had a severe reaction to the med and could not walk for over a week. Because of his decision I am unable to receive the Euflexa injection for three months....as meds cannot be mixed. I was told the problem was caused because of my insurance company.....not true per my insurance company representative. This experience has left me frustrated and disappointed. Dr. Sullivan of this practice was kind and caring and advised me during this painful time. Dr. Sullivan administered two steroid injections to my knees a week later which has allowed me to walk with a cane until I can have the Euflexa med administered in three months.

Dr. Lyons did a partial knee replacement on my left knee and a torn minuscule surgery on my right knee. Amazing!!

Dr Lyons and his staff are by far the best he has done a hip replacement on my right side and has done both my wife’s knees all came out great my wife is a very small woman and I’m a heavy set guy at 335 lbs that showed his ability to work on all types of people. I had pain in my back and another doctor gave me shots in my lower back , I ended up getting an infection. I ended up going to a wound care doctor, he tried a wound vac that I had to wear for 8 months what he told me was I had to have the hip replaced in order to get rid of the infection. I worked with Dr Lyons, he put me in contact with the right people to go onto IV antibiotics. It’s been over a year and I have had no problems with my him, Dr Lyons and his staff show compassion and helped me get through this ordeal I come from Winter Haven to see this doctor and I would drive a lot further if I needed to great man great Staff Thank You Leo Gill

Dt Lyons has a kind of distant demeanor, but not uncaring. He's all business. He impresses me as the kind of doctor who puts his all into healing. Isnt that why we seek his help??
