Dr. Hadley did my neck surgery and it was very successful.
The time Dr. Hadley took with me and my wife to explain the procedure was very compforting to us both. After surgery he came to my room and went over what to expect in the next few days. After I got home he called me personally and expressed his concern for me and assured me that if I needed him day or night to call. We made a good friend. Thanks Roger and Donna Senn

Dr. Hadley is a master at his craft. I traveled from three states away to have him operate on me and after experiencing his care and that of his team, I would not even consider another surgeon to work on my spine. Total professionalism and confidence, competence, and genuine caring about my well being is what stood out for me. But, I knew I was with the right surgeon when, on the day of my procedure, at least seven hospital employees, from the tech's to the nurses, all said unsolicited Dr, Hadley is the best there is. They were all right. Phenomenal doctor and team. Hands down the best.

Dr Hadley and his staff provided the most excellent care during my illness. I was treated with compassion and given hope after 4 months of pain and changes in my daily routine. Dr. Hadley"s gift is unselfishly used to bring change to those who I believe God sent his way. I will eternally be grateful to Dr.Hadley and his staff.

Dr. Mark Hadley is a miracle worker. I had a spinal fusion surgery from another Dr on Feb 20, 2020, that failed miserably and put me in a wheelchair. Dr. Hadley performed what can only be described as a miracle and fused S-1 through L-4 vertebrae. He is the top 1% of all neurosurgeons in America. I thank God for Dr. Hadley every day because he allowed me to stand and walk again. There is no better doctor than Dr. Hadley.

Dr Hadley is an excellent doctor he did my first spinal fusion in 2006 was back driving a truck in just over 5 weeks I had another fusion done by Dr Hadley in 2011 was back driving again 4 weeks and 2 days later I highly recommend Dr Hadley he truly cares about his patients and wants to help!

I am a disabled veteran and was in the early stages of becoming paralyzed when I was referred to Dr. Mark Hadley. He knew exactly what was wrong with me and what procedure would be required to give me a better quality of life. He successfully and skillfully performed my surgery, a dorsal cervical 3-4, 4-5, 5-6 and 6-7 laminectomy with cervical 2 – thoracic 2 internal fixation and fusion. The results were amazing. Prior to this operation I was really wheelchair bound and now I am able to stand straighter and use a walker for short periods. My excruciating back pain has been relieved and this has only been a few months since the operation. I hope to get even better with my continued OT and PT. I would highly recommend Dr. Hadley. He is an excellent surgeon and he really cares about his patients. He told me exactly what he was going to do, and then was there to check on my daily progress and to answer any questions I might have. I also cannot say enough about his PA, David Aldrich, he was extremely hardworking, caring and compassionate. He came in every single day to check on me and make sure I was healing well. The whole staff was outstanding. I could not have asked for a better outcome or experience.

In this new corona virus age of alternate physician visits, I just had my first "telephone visit" with Dr. Mark Hadley, a neurosurgeon at UAB. It was a valuable experience for me, as he and his nurse practitioner, Linda, were able to show me the MRI results of my cervical spine over the phone. He talked me through the diagnosis and my options for treatment. Dr. Hadley performed a successful spinal fusion procedure on my lumbar spine approximately a year ago, so I trust his judgment and skill implicitly. That surgery was life changing to me. The treatment and care I received through Dr. Hadley and his staff, both last year through surgery and this telephone visit today, makes me confident that I have chosen the best neurosurgeon possible for a successful outcome to my spinal issues.

Dr. Hadley and his entire team are awesome. Amazing care. I daresay the best physician I've ever worked with. While compassionate, he is also direct and doesn't push you to anything - he just lays out the facts. And he is humble - gives credit to God for his gifts and is a praying man. I am so impressed. And the best part? My back pain is gone! Successful surgery for spinal stenosis as well as fusing my L4 and L5 and I am pain free for the first time in years. Thank you Dr. Hadley, David, Linda and the entire team at UAB Neurosurgery!

Dr. Hadley spent time, explained what needed to be done. And was there whenever I had a question. His staff is the best. He is not only a top notch surgeon but a caring individual.
