I like Dr. Y. but his staff can be very rude. He is worth the wait and spends time with you, so bring reading material. He did corrective hip surgery for labral tears in both hips and I went back for an IT Band release that was successful. This Doctor is the only one in the area willing to fix a labral tear in your hip and the others just want to replace your hip even if you do not need it and that would not fix the problem. You have to ask for him personally or else you see his PA, you want to talk to THE Doc who is going to possibly do surgery on YOU. He does make sure you have tried PT first and has you have some tests. He just does not jump in and tell you you need surgery. He is a kind, knowledgeable surgeon so bring your questions and he will answer them. His assistant Stephanie is good at answering questions too. He is worth the wait.

Waited an hour then left. They insisted I arrive early to fill out paperwork. There were two people behind the desk. When I told them I was leaving, one just asked for my name and said nothing. The other apologized. There were patients that went into the back room when i got there and were still back there when I left. Overall, I call this great disrespect for your patients. I will go elsewhere.

Regarding the comment from July 09. We have had a completely opposite experience. My wife had knee replacement last year and scheduled for the other one this week. Staff always helpful, Dr.Yusaf has an excellent rapport with His patients, He is well trained and experienced in the procedures He preforms. We are very happy to have Him as our Surgeon. Hope you find this helpful in your decision making process.

Dr. Yusaf is excellent. I had a torn labrum repaired orhoscopically at crittenton hospital. Everything was flawless. Crittenton has a special table for dr. Yusaf that pulls the hip joint out enough to get the scope in. Before and after was just perfection. Highly recommend dr yusaf and crittenton

He did my ACL/Meniscus repair and I am ahead of schedule completely and the physical therapist is very happy with his work just as I am. He knew his stuff, awesome staff. The ladies at the front desk are always talking about fun pop culture stuff, like American Idol when I was in so it was fun to wait the 10 minutes I do regularly when I go in early.

You will wait and wait and wait because he overbooks as bad as the airlines. He is a marginal doctor at best. The office is 20 years behind the times technologically and the office staff has an ATTITUDE.
