I'm very impressed with Dr. Reeg after my first visit with him. Very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain my options and choices, very unlike my earlier surgeon that performed 2 surgeries on my back. I def will never go back to him. Will see Dr. Reeg again to explore my options.

Dr. Reeg is beyond exceptional. What an amazing surgeon! I don't agree with the other reviews about his personality at all. He was nice and took time to explain everything necessary to us.

Dr Reeg has always been on point when it comes to my spinal issues. His understanding of nerves and pain medication are essential to treating his patients. In the Greenville practice, his staff hurt his reputation. He is the ONLY one who will touch me and I followed him to Duke. Will follow him anywhere for my care!!!

Dr. Reeg is an excellent surgeon. He is very knowledgable in his field. His personnality is some what flat. However, I don't care about that if he is good at what he does. I am not there to have drinks with him or to invite him to my house for christmas. He is very tight with the pain medication which if you have ever had a three level lumbar fusion it would be nice to see him be more understanding of this. With that said though this keeps you aware of your pain and your limitations. I felt he did a great job and would recommend him in the future as well as see him again. Those of you that have written nasty comments about him I would love to check your narcotic perscription history. You were most likely pissed b/c he would not give you narcotics. DR. REEG I COMMEND YOU FOR YOUR STRICT POLICY WITH NARCOTICS!!! Keep up the good work

Dr. Reeg is so unprofessional and caring. He treats you like you are not even worth his time. He makes you feel like you're worthless. I acts like he thinks he is so much better than you are and walks all over your feelings. He's uncaring to how bad you hurt or how you feel. He makes snide remarks as if you don't even know what you're going through with the pain you're having in your back. It's almost like he blames you for whatever is going on. He so uncaring that it made me think "What if something went wrong during surgery. Would he even care enough to try to save my life. Do I mean so less to him that it wouldn't be worth his time to save my life." In this profession you need to have compassion for others and he does not. You better be on time for your appointment or you want be seen. It's always been 1 to 2-1/2 hours after my appointment time that I'm called back to see him. Do you deserve this kind of treatment? I say NOT! There's to many good Dr. out there to be treated so bad.

Dr. Reeg has an incredible God given gift with his hands and mind. I have suffered for 5 years with disabling pain. He replaced 2/3 of my spine and I have had not one pain even in hospital after surgery. He is awesome!!!

Dr. Reeg is noted as one of the best spinal surgeon in eastern nc. He is however, very non-chalant about your personal feelings or your injury if you are a worker's comp patient. My opinion is only one based on my personal visitation. If worker comp then not require his services, Dr Reeg would not even know my name. As a matter of fact, he still doesn't know my name. No charts, no medical history review and no x-rays. After a five minute interview, prescribed backbrace and I'm still in pain. Thank you workmans comp, you've got a winner this time.

Dr Regg, was polite, explained to me about my spinal surgery. He did have to go back because of growth tissue.I felt comfortable with him and if I needed another back surgery I would get it from him.

I would have given his the best rate. He operated on my back two times once was because of my siatic nerve. He was very pleasant. The staff was great and I would take Dr. Regg over anyone else. He explained what he was going to do and when I was out of recovery he answered my husband and my questions. I would go back too him.
