With a severely damaged elbow a few doctors told me I would never have full mobility in my arm again Dr. Lassiter performed the surgery and I now have full mobility. I’m very thankful for the work he did on me.

I saw Dr. Lassiter earlier this summer and was greatly disappointed. I felt it was a waste of time to have even been seen by him and I gained nothing out of this appointment. Dr. Lassiter was initially polite but really didn't seem to care what I had to say regarding my medical condition. When I tried explaining what was going on with me medically he seemed to dismiss it. He even made comments about my condition ( or what he thought was going on ) without even asking me if what he was saying was accurate.. At times he was very abrupt and almost rude. After leaving I reviewed my paperwork and discovered that the diagnosis he gave me was not even for the correct body part that I was being seen for.
I definately would not recommend him to anyone.
On the other hand, his nurse ( I did not get her name) was very polite, professional and compassionate.

Dealt with a colleague of his before being reffered to him. 2 years later. after starting having problems with frozen shoulder. Went there for consulte. refused to treat me for it, being a diabetic. I am currently getting better care for the problem through my chriropractor. wanted me to come back again in 4 months. took everything to chriropractor. getting better results then with this arrogant dr. I am not going to keep my late October appointment with him. or give him the credit for fixing it.

Lassiter came highly recommended but my care under this doctor and his staff was abysmal. He is a personable guy but can be arrogant and tends to treat you like a number rather than a person. I could deal with that IF he provided me excellent care, which I had come to expect from all the glowing reviews I had heard about him (in person, not on-line). After my shoulder surgery Dr. Lassiter never even came to see me to explain anything, leaving that to a subordinate. I was given very little information regarding post-operative care, and was told nothing about what I could expect in terms of healing, eventual range of motion, etc. The worst part is that my shoulder has not improved, and feels almost the exact same as before the surgery. Three times I waited over an hour to be seen, until I finally complained to the staff about how I felt I was being treated. Then I was seen almost immediately. Each time I was seen by Lassiter he had at least one other person tagging along with him, and on one occasion, two. Each appointment lasted less than one minute. That is not an exaggeration. Totally insulting. The way Lassiter explained my injury and recovery was misleading, condescending, and a total affront and insult to my intelligence. Tremendously unhappy about my care under this supposedly 'great' doctor. And I still have a seriously injured shoulder to boot. Great. Thanks for nothing.

I went to this doctor because of a hip injury that occurred at the workplace. He refused to look at my hip, but only examined my foot which was not injured. He then wrote a false report to the Worker's Compensation board, saying there was no injury to the hip and that I was psychotic, and now I am fighting a very difficult case for a legit injury. I went to another joint specialist and it turns out that I have torn ligaments and acute tendonitis in the right hip socket. The femur is even gradually separating from the pelvis because I was unable to get medical help for so long, thanks to this doctor misdiagnosing and then filing a false claim against me. His staff did not assist me, and I waited an hour-and-a-half to be seen after setting up an appointment. Dr. Lassiter barely spoke with me, and when I voiced my pain and concerns - he did not listen and refused to investigate my injury any further.

I have never felt so unworthy as a person. Dr. Lassiter did not talk to me or have a clue when my problem was. He gave me x rays of wrong areas and did not fully make me understand my condition He also did not understand or frankly care about my history.
