Dr Azzato impressed me greatly. He actually listened to what I was explaining to him. I have been to 6 orthopedic surgeons over the last 20 years. He is the best I have seen. I really appreciate that his ego doesn't enter into his treatments.

I love seeing Dr. Azzato! After my visit with him, the end result was my pain being mitigated if not totally relieved.

I thought Dr. Azzato was an excellent doctor, although I did not have any severe problems. I saw him for yet another WC "injury" mild strain. He talked to me for 10 or so minutes, then palpatated various places on my back, etc. He then prescribed Tramadol and Elavil and told me to buy a book on Tension Myositis Syndrome. Stressors (mental) that we deal with or create in our minds lead to tension being centered in certain areas and ALL of mine were extremely tight. The Elavil helped me sleep. Gave me dry mouth but made me sleep. A couple months into this, I found out I have CELIAC disease. Many symptoms are part of this disease, including things the chronic pain in my joints and muscles. Now, other doctors simply kept giving me Valium, Skelaxin and Percocet (all at once). It turns out I don't need them anymore. I still take Tramadol occasionally but have halved my Elavil dose. Turns out the Tension Myositis was real but Celiac related. I thought he was a good doctor.

Seemed to be out to lunch talking about unnecessary amputation and then prescribed physical therapy to walk when I can already walk.
