Dr Williams did my Aortic valve replacement in December 2019 as well as my bypass surgery. I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better outcome. He spent time explaining the procedure with my wife and daughter while I was in recovery from my surgery . The whole staff at ECU heart where amazing.

The best of the best. Spent 7 hours repairing my father's heart with great attention to every detail. Can't find a better surgeon anywhere in the country.

Honestly, I'm surprised to read all of these positive reviews of Dr. W. When he decided that my mother needed bypass surgery, he was the kindest, most knowledgable doctor. He spent a ton of time explaining the procedure, risks and needs. We were so relieved that someone was giving us some answers and help. The minute my mom went into surgery, something flipped in him. When I spoke to Dr. Williams after surgery (after 5 terrifying hours waiting to see how she was)he was incredibly cold and rude. I figured he was just tired and so I blew it off. But, during her follow-up appointments we got the same treatment. He acted like we were wasting his time and he just had a really cold demeanor. I really hope I'm wrong, which is why I waited so long to write this, but it was almost like he sold my mom the surgery and afterwards he was done with her. Again, hopefully I'm wrong and Dr. W just has really poor follow-up care, but my family did not have a positive experience with this person.

Had double bi-pass surgery. A perfect operation. Am back to my previous energy level, riding my bicycle about 10 miles and on my motorcycle. Very knowledgeable and very experienced.

Consulted the family for my Grandfathers Bypass surgery. Was very patient and thorough in explaining procedure. Discussed procedure and risks objectivly with large family group. Was compassionate, respectful, and took time to field questions.
