He botched my rhinoplasty and tried to make me believe he did a great job and I was crazy! Had to cancel my wedding because of this man and had to wait a year for a revision surgery and battle depression in the interim. The whole ordeal was expensive, emotionally scarring, and financially stressful. AT 83 YEARS OLD HE DESPERATELY NEEDS TO RETIRE. Please DO NOT let this man put you under and permanently change your face. You WILL regret it :(

RUN. HE'S A PREDATOR.
He took advantage of my naïve teenage self and used me as an experiment. Left me poor, traumatized, and unable to leave home, my nose is so botched. It's been 11-12 years since the nosejob and I'm still wounded from the damage he did to my face. He guaranteed happiness, but the reality is he conned me out of thousands of dollars, all so he could scar my face beyond recognition. It's clear all he cares about is money, or he would have turned me away.

I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Silver. A staff member named Dana took my information and confirmed the date and time. On the date of the consultation, Dana advised that there was nothing scheduled for me and couldn't find my information. When requesting to speak with the office manager, she advised that she was the manager and proceeded to tell me that I was wrong and she was very off-putting. It shocked me that someone claiming to be an office manager would act this way. We could have gotten past her mistake and inability to schedule if it wasn't for her bad attitude and not taking ownership for the situation. I chose not to reschedule because of that.

This doctor and his staff are not courteous and leave you hanging if they decide that you won’t jump in and become their patient. If you are knowledgeable and are cautious, they won’t even answer your calls or emails. I don’t trust this doctor for this reason alone. I feel that if something goes wrong with the outcome of surgery surgery, they will just stop responding to my concerns.

Here is input consideration from a slightly different angle. I am the father of one of his patients - my youngest daughter who is also a cardiac care nurse. One doesn’t want to risk anything with a family member. I can honestly advise Dr Silver is a outstanding Dr with years of experience, which is what one should want. My daughter cried with joy when the staff and Dr Silver removed the splint. He called me and my wife to follow up on a weekend, was prompt with his replies, outstanding bed side manner, great staff, and finally - excellent results. Further, as a CC ICU nurse my daughter knows practical care techniques. She was pleased. Dr Silver is a great and EXPERIENCED surgeon. Go with experience. Results speak for themselves. He’s a great person and medical practitioner. Highly recommended!

After reading the similar reviews - it saddens me to say they are true in regards to him needing to retire. He will definitely attempt to make you think you are insatiable and to seek counseling after you express discontent with his rhinoplasty work because he feels since he's done SO many there is no way he did a botched job. His computer skill set is at the lowest deficiency because he doesn't even know how to operate the facial imaging machine. So when he attempts to draw a pre-image it fails and this leads to him guessing how your nose will look post-op. He specializes in giving cortisone shots to try to correct any errors and in turn this causes deformities . He is good about deflecting the conversation from your issues to make you think it's in your head. He will even try to make you think the NEW breathing issues are psychological. He will out-right lie about any insurance claiming. And he will add more fees and push them on to you AFTER surgery. As for correcting HIS errors, he will tell you he'll correct it IF YOU can get him to admit it but then any correction offers become a lie too. and he will slyly charge you for follow up visits when you continue to tell him the non-surgical attempts are not working. HE SHOULD DEFINITELY RETIRE as his era of knowing rhinoplasty and the aesthetics of it is over. He is very outdated. My advice is to please acknowledge reviews for this Man and all doctors. My mistake.

this is one of the worst most incompetent doctors I ever dealt with in my entire life. I hope he decides to retire and close his practice because he doesn't know what he is doing. He does botched jobs and doesn't bother to correct his awful mistakes.

Do not see this doctor. It is time for him to retire. He is in this for nothing but money. Run the other way.
