My daughter went to Dr. Schechter. He offers what he calls "free" consultations as long as you go through with the surgery. This is anything but free and is indicative as to the quality of medicine he is practicing.

Horrible experience...Dr S was my reconstructive plastic surgeon after double mastectomy in 2010. Had to have another doctor do a revision to fix the mess made by Dr S.

Doc spends less than 3 minutes with me each visit...after a very tough road of breast reconstruction....horrible.

Dr Schechter was both skilled and pleasant. He and his staff prepared me for surgery and the results were better than I expected. I work in the medical field and have seen his work first hand. He is a wonderful surgeon and I would highly recommend him.

I took my son to see Dr. Schecter. He had a MRSA infection after back surgery which left a really awful scar. He did not seem interested in talking to me or my son. I guess the procedure wasn't big enough for him. I left feeling we had wasted a lot of our time and money for the consult.

Dr. Schechter ruined my life. The first surgery, his nurse almost killed me, when he repeated my rhinoplasty a month later, he couldn't answer ANY of my questions post-surgery and now, one year later, I have yet to see a change in my nose as I requested. I went into severe depression and had to drop out of school because of the half-assed job he did. DO NOT USE THIS SURGEON!

Dr. Schechter and his staff are completely professional, and truly care about their patients. He is a highly skilled surgeon who has excellent instincts, especially when he has to improvise. I highly recommend him.
