This doctor wasn't for me. Either he didn't fully understand the extent of my mental health issues or he didn't care about making the extra effort.

I have been under the care of Dr. Cervantes for 31 years. If anyone knows him best, it is certainly me. He is a compassionate, understanding and patient doctor. His knowledge of psychiatric drugs is impeccable. You can"t get a better psychiatrist than him .

I have been seeing Dr. Cervantes for 7 years. Trust me, he knows what he's talking about and he can help you find answers to those difficult questions.

Well I went to see him for a evaluation that my insurance sent me. Of course I was anxious I did not sleep and I started panicking because I was told 2 hrs n I had to go pick up the kids. So I kinda raised my voice I must of swore too cuz or course I was mad I was not told 2 hrs I thought it was one hr. He was very calm until I raised my voice which is part of the problem I've been having for the last year. So he basically told me to get out and locked the door. I felt like doodoo even more first of all cuz I was told he could help and blabalba and honestly did not see any help from him. Maybe next time try to calm the patient and ask questions.

I am grateful to Dr. Cervantes. He is clearly interested in clinical research too, and the only way we can get solutions for mental health stuff is to study them, plus the MGH is a teaching and research hospital, so I don't mind being a guinea pig, up to a point, as long as I feel confident I can always have choice. I felt Dr. Cervantes respected my boundaries well, and was always polite and professional. I enjoy his erudition, and the level of compassion I got from him was certainly much better than anything in my own family. I feel he understands mood disorders quite well – like, the lived experience of them – and has dedicated his life to trying to help. I will always be grateful to him.

Incompetent should quit practicing. Not nice and can put people at risk to themselves. Do not see this doctor. Go see someone more competent if you want to be in good hands. Not fit to practice and should be reported.

Not competent, not fit to practice, a disgrace to the profession. Do not follow-up and give pills without checking with his patients afterwards. Stay away from this doctor.

I should of quit while I was ahead Pill pusher : number one. , humanity is mandarin for him, knows his books . Should never practice with patients, only teach at Mc Gill, left like a thief, no heart, no dignity, we should all get together and give him a thank you note : College des médecins . We don’t need peoples like that , he has a very short memory : he should be grateful to all the patients : we are the ones who put food on his table and a lot more , Shame on you !!!
