Biography
John M. Hilinski, M.D. brings the latest advances in facial plastic surgery techniques to patients of his private practice in San Diego. A graduate of Harvard Medical School, Dr. Hilinski completed an internship in general surgery, followed by a five-year residency in head and neck surgery at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) Medical Center. He was then chosen for a prestigious American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship in Chicago, where he trained in facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery under internationally renowned surgeon Dean M. Toriumi, M.D. Certified in both plastic and reconstructive surgery as well as surgery of the head and neck, Dr. Hilinski has focused his San Diego practice on facial plastic surgery. His extensive training and continued education in the field have allowed him to offer state-of-the-art procedures using the latest technology. He has been published in academic journals and books for his work with rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty, and frequently lectures around the country to fellow surgeons. In addition to advanced nose surgery, he performs procedures such as eyelid lift, BOTOX® Cosmetic, facelift, facial reconstruction, and many other surgical and non-surgical cosmetic treatments. I went to Dr. Hilinski in May 2019 for an earlobe revision due to sagging earlobes from excessive piercings. I could not have been happier with my decision ! I did a ton of research on surgeons who specialize in earlobe revision or wedge reduction and came across his name several times. This isnt a complicated surgery but I really wanted someone who knew / had experience with this. Dr . Hilinski and his staff are so professional and welcoming. He even re-pierced my ears after they were done healing and i could not be happier with the results !!!
