Very cold and not personable. I felt I was intruding on her time. I will look for a new ent.

Rude, arrogant and condescending as the previous review said is putting it mildly. She was uninterested in my case and made it clear. I was referred to her by another MD to see if I had GERD. I already knew I did not. She took a quick look in my throat, told me I had mucous there, but that I did not have GERD. She NEVER told me there is another type of acid reflus called LPR or Silent Reflux which has a different set of symptoms (hoarseness, continual coughing, mucous) and needs to be diagnosed by an endoscopy. She never ordered one and never mentioned this condition to me from which I had been suffering for years. It was a clear failure to diagnose. I later went to another ENT who took about 2 seconds to identify what I had, give me an endoscopy, explain it fully, prescribe the necessary meds and dietary changes. If you need an ENT, I highly recomment Dr. Wikholm of the Marion Medical Center in Santa Maria.

Rude, condescending and abrupt. Worst Dr. I've ever seen. Completely disinterested.

Subsequent doctor was surprised that Dr. Molin had missed three areas of sinus congestion indicated in CT scan. She had told me everything was normal, nothing unusual in the scan, although I had been choking on thick mucus for over a year. Billing was very strange but i did get a refund. Find a doctor who can read what the diagnostic labs produce. She didn't look very carefully and suggested i had stomach problems!

Never have I had such treatment from an MD.

Dr. Molin’s bedside manner can best be described as abrupt. My two consultations with her were very brief, she never sat down, and you were out of there completely stunned before you knew what happened to you.

After my second visit I had to go and see my GP to calm down and get some perspective on what happened. Luckily I brought my wife on the second visit as she didn’t believe my description of the first visit. She left as blown away as I was.

I presented all the classic symptoms of Meniere’s Disease (vertigo, vomiting, hearing loss etc) but Dr Molin was of the opinion that I didn’t have Meniere’s but probably Hydrocephalous (water on the brain).

Three other doctors and ENT’s later concurred that I had Meniere’s. I sent a letter to Dr Molin explaining that I considered the diagnosis I had received to be a misdiagnosis that had delayed the treatment of the disease several months and refused to pay the bill for my co-pay.

I didn’t receive an answer to my complaint and got a collection notice instead. I send a second complaint letter and this time got a letter from the accounting department explaining that they had followed their billing procedures. I never heard a thing from Dr Molin personally, only from the gatekeepers. The misdiagnosis was never addressed.

I finally paid the $157 in order not to ruin my credit rating. I had my own business for 20 years and always honored complaints, however unreasonable, in order to keep the customers happy. This is obviously not the case for Dr Molin and the accounting department of her clinic Ear Nose and Throat Specialists, Inc.

had chronic congestion with 3 infections in 1 year. All molin had to offer was to try a different antibiotic and sent me on my way. 1st bill came for the quoted amount, then they sent me another saying there was a glitch in there system with an attached note saying I had 10 days before I was sent to a collection agency. I drop off another check, which they still have not cashed and the person in charge of finance send they will see to it in a couple days. Steer clear of this place... there are other ENT's out there with better operations than this one.

My daughter was seen by Dr. Molin. My daughter is 26 and has ringing in one ear and wooshing sound in the other with hearing loss in both ears after being seen by Dr.s for years and being neglected with her problems, my daughter was finally able to see an ENT Dr. Molin . Dr. Molin said the wooshing sound was most likely her heart beat that she is hearing and that she would just have to live with this...I'm sure if Dr. Molin was living with this she would not accept this as an answer. Dr. Molin didn't take any time to explain much and we had to ask questions we were treated as if we were bothering her. Maybe it's her insurance??? Dr. Molin never asked for my daughter to come back for a follow up appointment. Now she has ringimg in both ears. A little more compassion and maybe a referral to somewhere else that can handle this kind of care would be much appreciated.

I don't understand these negative ratings. I saw Dr. Molin today for the first time, and both the Dr. and her staff were friendly, courteous, prompt, and helpful. The Dr. didn't solve my problem, but she ruled out two suspected (by me) causes, and referred me to another type of specialist. I had blood drawn, to rule out another long-shot cause, and she said she would call me if the bloodwork showed anything. Later, I received a follow-up phone call and an email checking to make sure I understood the info I was given, and asking if I had further questions. No, Dr. Molin didn't "cure" me, but I found her to be sympathetic, knowledgable, and helpful, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for an ENT.

Dr. Molin is very cold and her work is questionable. She did my wife's surgery on her two years ago. She never followed up. She should have! My wife had the same surgery at Stanford Hospital. The surgeon is outstanding and finished what should have been done. In the post-op appointment, he cleaned out more "debris" from my wife's sinuses and said that the problem will not recur.
