I have been going to Dr. Dekoos for years and have recommended many friend and family to him. He is always on time and friendly, kind, patient. Whenever I need him I can get him on the phone, if I need a prescription he calls it is. No problems. I will be so sorry when he retires finding someone like him.

This doctor has no idea of what he is doing. I had appointment with him instead of my regular gynecologist, because she was not there. It was sort of emergency, i had an unusual bleeding and a paid in my midcycle after a week of antibiotics. The appointment (which is quite pricey) took approximately 2 minutes. I addressed my concerns that i might have a cyst (since i had it before already and the pain was similar), but he roughly dismissed my concerns by saying that he just checked me and there is no cyst. Wow, so we dont actually need thing like ultrasound when there are doctors like this, who can see through the body. In the end he said that it s just an infection and prescribed me with another antibiotics. 4 days later i managed to get an appointment with my regular doctor and she send me to an ultrasound. Guess what, they confirmed that i had a cyst and it caused pain and bleeding. Absolutely useless and arrogant Mr. De Koos. Beware!

The appointment lasted about 60 sec. he was condescending and dismissive. did not ask any questions and prescribed a pill containing estrogen wile my mother died of breast cancer... then never answered the pharmacist when they tried to get a prescription for an appropriate pill (without the estrogen)
This doctor seems to want to pocket as much money as possible before retirement... I will not go to see him again.

Dr DeKoos has been my dr. for over 30 years. He is gentle, calm, a little to direct sometimes but I have only good thing to say about him. He called me at home to give me results . But since he got really hill few years ago I feel that he does not have much interest in his work anymore.

I`ve had terrible vaginal pain for the last year and a half, and after being bounced around from wait list to wait list I finally got an appointment with Dr. De Koos. I may as well have never seen a doctor. My appointment lasted in total about 30 seconds, he refused to examine me - he gave me a prescription for a new birth control (which is only one of about 50 explanations for the problem) even though I was literally begging him to just take a look so that I can rule out a physical issue. He was obviously just interested in making money off the referral. The receptionist was not surprised when I asked to see another doctor, and told me I would have to get another referral to get a second appointment - I asked for my referral back since the doctor refuses to see me or treat me and it was only when I started bawling that they gave in. Stay away from this man, he is awful. He even groped one of the female staff members in front of me.

Dr. DeKoos answered my questions incompletely and with plenty of condescension. When I made comments informed by prior research, he snorted at me, and when I outlined the next steps we had discussed, he practically patted me on the head. I left without asking for the exams I needed, because there was no way I was disrobing around that guy. When I went to reception to ask for a different doctor, she did not seem surprised by the request. I should have seen it coming when he started our appointment off by yelling for a staff member to bring him coffee, and then called her 'sweetie' three times in front of me. Gross.

I had an urgent problem so I decide to go despite the negative review.

In and out the examination room in 7 minutes.
I explained my problem, he did not ask much questions. He then put the gloves, touch me without much warning, diagnosed XYZ and then told me to get dressed. (The office is in front of the examination room).

He gave me the prescription without much explanations. I asked a few questions but he was not very talkative. I also realized that he did not wash his hands because there is NO SINK in the examination room.

So he knows what he is talking about, but lack social skills, and hygiene.

TERRIBLE experience the last two times I went in there.
I first met Dr. De Koos to terminate a pregnancy 13 years ago and he was fine then. Not the "warmest" of persons, but acted professional. Went after that 3 or 4 times for general exams and PAP tests. Again, things got done, quickly, but professionally.
WHAT HAPPENED ???
In February 2014, I went in because I had a full-body and mental-breakdown.
He was odious. 10 minutes in total being questioned while being probed with the speculum and his fingers in a very indelicate manner. Got a prescription he did not explain, (Progesterone), a prescription for anti-depressants (when he had no knowledge of how bad I react to those things), argued with me about what I was feeling during my menstrual cycle -which had accelerated to almost 2 periods per month-, had NO TIME for my questions, never told me I was going through pre-menopause and I had to beg to get blood work done which he "granted" with ultimate contempt. The whole appointment including getting in & out of my clothes took 10 minutes. Medicare card + had to pay a fee. And felt like SHIT.
At the drug store, the pharmacist refused to give me the prescription because she could not understand it and had never seen anything like it.
At the end of my rope, went to see the owner of the pharmacy (Pharmacist with 35 years experience) who fixed the Progesterone prescription and I started to take the Progesterone ONLY.

This February 2015, went in because I started to get side effects with the Progesterone and my menstrual cycle accelerated yet again. When he learned that I was taking the Progesterone (as instructed by the pharmacist : 14 days per cycle starting at the 14th day OF the cycle) he LOST IT. I was supposed to take the Progesterone for 10 days, starting on the 25th day of each month. (???) Called both pharmacists IDIOTS, told me to change pharmacy, rewrote a prescription and kicked me out of his office. The whole appointment took 2 MINUTES !!! I felt like shit yet again. Had no time to ask any questions except about the anti-depressants which he DENIED having prescribed the way he had. (Got proof he did, though, the pharmacy gave me a photocopy of the 2014 scanned prescription).

He is a BULLY. Insensitive, abrasive, detestable and offensive. He does not care about the true well-being of his patients. He doesn't know the general condition of a patient and NEVER ASKS !!! The anti-depressant he prescribed could have seriously harmed me.

I will never go see him again.
He gets paid what? 100$ for a consultation? You are granted 2 minutes and bullied all the way. I cried when I got in my car. NOT NORMAL.
If he is so fed up with his profession, he should retire.

Worst experience ever! I would not suggest him for my worst enemy! I saw him at clinic medic elle . He did I not listen to any question or anything I had to say. He was so quick to get the exam under way that I was barely laying down before he was craming the speculum in as fast as he could with no warning. I felt like there was no way he saw or looked at anything while he was doing the exam . He did not do any breast exam and when I expressed concern and I mentioned family history with my dads twin getting it twice at an early age, my mom being adopted and having fibrocystic Breast, he basically made me feel like I was ignorant and stupid for asking and told me that you could not get it from the fathers side witch from what I've read is no longer true. I simply can say I would never want to see him for any exam and left his office puzzled and feeling like I wanted to cry. This guy should retire already if he hates what he does so much that he can't spend 5 seconds with one patient and actually not treat them like we are in a meat factory.
