Unfortunately, he is getting too old to practice. He has no short term memory left. He does the same thing over and over and doesn't remember why you're there.

Dr Sabato diagnosed my neck cancer and referred me to a superb oncologist and the combination saved my life!
He is always thoughtful, and thorough when answering questions. He takes time to explain everything and has a wonderful bedside manner. The one downside is that wait time for appointments are usually quite long, which indicates he is in high demand and takes time to personalize each appointment. Just plan ahead for very long wait times, especially for afternoon appointments.

Dr. Sabato is one of the best. He referred me to another specialist for a second opinion (without any defensiveness), and that second doctor (at one of the best ENT hospitals in the country) had great respect for Sabato and his skills. I made the decision to have the surgery with Sabato in South Bend and it could not have gone better.

Dr. Sabato perpetually runs late for his appointments, but he is well worth the wait. The reason he is so late is that he is incredibly thorough and helpful. He LISTENS to his patients and explains things in detail. He is tops when it comes to ENT in South Bend in my opinion.
