My visit to this "doctor" remains one of my most disturbing and saddening experiences ever. I went to him after suffering an excruciating ear ache which no other doctor was able to treat. This man was very obviously annoyed and unhappy about seeing me, most likely because an earache is less likely to bring him surgery revenue. He was rude beyond belief and when I asked him how I could protect myself from another debilitating earache his answer was "it wont happen again" as he walked out the door. Are you kidding me?! Thats your idea of pt education??? For my follow up appointment I brought my father and this doctor answered all of my father's questions and treated my father with respect. As I am a young woman, I concluded from this that Dr. Toner is extremely **** and thinks that women dont deserve good bedside manner. I'm now in medical school and as I learn patient care I frequently think back to my experience with Dr. Toner and use him as a model of what NOT to do.
