I ended up with permanent hypoparathryoidism which I will have to live with for the rest of my life as a complication from my thyroid surgery. Had I known about it ahead of time, I would have had my surgery done at Froedert/Medical College of Wisconsin with one of their endocrine surgeons where the probability for a more favorable outcome would have been much higher since their endocrine surgeons perform more thyroid surgeries.

I went to see this doctor because food kept getting stuck in my tonsils and causing frequent irritation. I asked if I could get them removed since I would often have to rinse and use a utensil to try and get the food out often causing bleeding and more problems. He told me it would be worse to have them removed and that I should just continue and manually remove the food every few days since there were pockets in my tonsils. He seemed rushed and bothered by my presence. I have since had them removed from a qualified professional.

He is the best of the best. Funny, makes you feel at ease. Had polyps removed twice, made my family feel at ease and saw me on Sunday! Works with kids extremely well. Has a very open ear to hear what you have to say, then remembers 6 months later. He is truly rare type of doctor. He truly cares about all of his patients. You are not a number. He will tell something bad without you worrying about it, "Don't worry. We'll take all the care we need to to the job and to make you feel great again. What do you say to that?" Then laughs.
