I've been a patient of Dr. Skaggs for several years and I think he's a GREAT doctor. He has a great personality, awesome bedside manner and I believe he's VERY knowledgeable. He takes his time and listens to you and answers all your questions. I doubt you could find a better primary care physician. His staff is not the greatest and you usually have to wait a long time to see him but I believe he's worth it and I would definitely recommend him!!

I've been seeing Dr. Skaggs for several years. I believe he's very knowledgable and a very good doctor. He's always very pleasant, thorough, and always takes time to talk to you, explain things, and answer any questions you have. You do usually have to wait quite a while to see him but I would rather wait than be rushed. As far as him not going to the hospital any longer, I believe that is the case with most family practitioners today. I would definitely recommend Dr. Skaggs, but with that being said, his front office staff is not the best. One lady in particular can be downright rude, which is a shame. I don't understand why he keeps her.

Some of the staff at his office are great, than you have the ones that are there just to get a check and go through the motions and don't care. When you go for your appointment prepare yourself to wait in the lobby for atleast an hour PAST your appointment time as he is always backed up with patients. There have been times I didn't get out of there until 6:30 or so and I was there at 3pm. I have had Dr. Christopher C. Skaggs as my personal doctor for 14 yrs and through those years the service has went further and further down. All in all he is a great doctor but his time management is AWFUL. Profile states that he works out of Thomas Hospital but he will not attend you there as he allows the inhouse doctors there to tend to the patients as of 2013, because according to a staff member he doesnt have the time.

Dr. Skaggs is a great internist. He's very thorough and compassionate and always takes time with you. I also believe he's very knowledgable. His staff is fine and the office seems to be organized; however, it sometimes takes a while to get into see him once you arrive for your appointment. That said, I'd definitely recommend him as a good family doctor.
