Called for prescription for Valtrex in april 2009. stuff member on the phone was rude. Wanted to schedule apointment before calling in for Valtrex because my last appointment was in 2007. Can't wait for a day to start valtrex (which needs to be taken within hours of getting a coldsore)so called my OBGYN instead.

I've been a patient of Dr. Izen's for about 7 years. I really like her and that's why I've stayed. The office staff is the only downside. The nurses aren't the problem, it's the front office staff. They are quite often rude and take forever to handle phone calls, especially phone calls from my pharmacy. But I've always stayed because I love Dr. Izen.

I've been a patient of Brenda for 2 years. She is extremely knowledgeable and does take the time to listen and discuss all concerns - and in all my visits, has been timely with no longer than a 15 minute wait to see her. EXCELLENT JOB

I like Dr. Izen! She really listens to my concerns and takes measures to address them and ease my mind. She makes sure I understand test results. My mom was terminally ill and she always asked about her health and how I was coping with it. Cathy, her nurse practicioner is also great!

She is very knowledgeable and her office is very up-to-date (she prints scripts out on the computer in the patient rooms). Very friendly and has a heart for patients.

Dr. Izen is a God-send to patients who find themselves in the arena of "fast-food" doctors. She is kind, helpful, knowledgeable, personable (not easily found in Drs in my experience) and will take the time to answer all of your questions. If you're wanting a quick in-and-out, you may find other Drs suit you better. She seems to run about 15 minutes late about 1/2 the time, however when you really need to see her, her office finds a way to fit you in, and she answers all your questions, and won't rush you out the door...thus the wait sometimes. But you know that when you get in, you'll have her full attention. This is a Dr who cares about her patients. If you're looking for a lifetime family doctor, this is the one.

She is a wonderful doctor. I felt at ease asking her questions. She takes the time to speak to her patients. She doesn't come in and out of rooms and sees multiplile patients at the same time. She focuses one on one with her paients and seems to try to find the right solution to treat your condition.

She is a great doc. Always gives you plenty of time, although you will wait to see her. I trust my entire family to her. Only down side is her staff. Excluding the nurses. The others are slow to get back to you or take care of a perscription renewal.
