FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR. I've been with Izen for 17 years. In that time her office has just gotten worse and worse. It takes months to get an appt--not with the dr, but with her nurse. Twice now, after waiting for months to get an appt I've arrived to find they don't have me on the calendar. When I am on the calendar I have to wait at least an hour to see the nurse. She goes thru nurses like kleenex, but her nurses are always wonderful and I never mind seeing them. If, God forbid, you have to go in for a test, it could take weeks to get the results--even when it's a matter of life or death. The whole process has become truly horrible. I am in search of another doctor.

Tried to make an appointment the other day -- can't get in for two and a half months! Dr. Izen only works two days a week. She is always running nearly an hour behind schedule, at least! The office staff is very rude and not helpful. Izen is a gossip, always complaining about the interoffice drama, even discussing other patients she has seen recently. She is always more converned with wasting your time talking about her own family rather than discussing why you've come to see her in the first place. I've been going to her for twenty years, but this office has been going downhill fast. I'm looking for a new doctor as we speak. Any suggestions?!

GOOD DOCTOR.POOR OFFICE STAFF.HER OFFICE STAFF IS RUDE .THEY NEED TO BE PROFESSIONAL WHEN DEALING WITH PATIENTS.

Let me just start by saying I have been seeing Dr. Izen since I was 5 years old. I am now 24 years old. I really liked Dr. Izen up until about 2007. Her staff is the worst, they are very rude and take days to call you back. It takes months to get in, and when I was sick they wouldn't be able to get me in for 2 days. Lois is awesome, she pretty much runs that place, I would see her whenever possible. In 2009 I had a horrible rash, and went to see her and she came in the room, looked through my charts, examened me, and then said "Have I ever seen you here before?" After that, I found a new doctor. This practice has gone downhill. I can't count the times that I have waited over 45 minutes to see someone, and ended up rescheduling because I have to be at work or school. There has never been a time that I haven't waited at least 20 minutes to be seen, but its normally about a half hour, if not longer. I would not recommend going here to anyone.

I agree with all ratings above. Love Dr Izen, but her staff is the worst. I have had my last appt there. The wait is ALWAYS over an hour. Great doctor, badly run office with very rude receptionist.

I really respect Dr. Izen as a person and a doctor, but she truly needs a more buttoned-up, timely, and professionally run office and a receptionist that more positively reflects her business.

Despite her knowledge and the quality time she spends with me. I had gone to her for about 15 years. That all went out the window when a very rude insecure office manager, made a false accusation against me and instead of Dr.Izen speaking to me as well she only listened to her office manager and I was never given the chance to tell her the truth about what really happened. Her office manager is very unproffessional and rude. Even after I switched doctors and had to ask for my records 3 times before they finally sent them, she treated me rudely and obviously was not able to seperate her personal from her professional life.

Dr.Izen is very thorough and where many doctors would stop and write a script, bandaid so to speak, she will uncover the true root of the problem. However, she unfortunately has a couple of staff employees who make the experience less than pleasant, they are read and lack the necessary people skills to be professional. I know she is busy but she really needs to look at her staff and deal with them otherwise they are going to create unnecessary problems for her.

I have been a patient of Dr. Izen's for about 12 years. She is a wonderful doctor, very caring and intelligent. Her office staff is another matter. She used to have a wonderful nurse/office manager who was there for a very long time. Since she left, the office has really gone downhill. Dr. Izen now has some very rude and vulgar women who work in her office, one is the receptionist. This is the first impression patients get of a doctor and believe me, these women do not project a professional or caring way about them. I have found a new doctor because I can not stand having to deal with Dr. Izen's rude staff. That is a shame because Dr. Izen is a great doctor.

I always came to this site before choosing the doctors. That's how I choose Dr.Brenda. First two regular visits they are good. After that the nurse, office staff are very rude. I had a severe allergy and waited two weeks to get an appointment. When I went 10 minutes late and apologized they asked me to reschedule .No courtesy. Yesterday, I waited 1 hour15 minutes ,I noticed they are letting other patients in who came late. I don't really understand them . I am not going to them anymore and would never recommend.
