I believe Dr. Verma is a competent Doctor; however I also believe he has become very busy and understaffed. Over the years his (and staff) attention to patient details has declined. His “physicals” are very quick and does not allow time for any dialogue. Additionally, he nor his staff ever returns phone calls, nor does his “covering” physician while he is unavailable. Countless calls/faxes regarding medications from pharmacies remain unanswered by his practice for days to weeks at a time, leaving the patient (myself) without essential medications, and I am forced to take a trip to a walk in for very common medications, or pay extraordinary amounts for over the counter medications because he (and his staff) has failed to return my phone calls, or respond to pharmacy requests. It’s unfortunate, but I think he has become “too busy” to handle the patient load with the necessary attention to detail and patient care.
