I am nineteen years old, and Dr. Sandroni is one of my favorite doctors. She has great humor, and is a very powerful woman. I admire her greatly, and I thank her for all of her help with my illness. She genuinely cares about her patients, and wants to see them improve.

It's true that Dr. Sandroni is not the most charismatic doctor; she is very brief in speech, analytical, and seems to think so rapidly and efficiently that there is little room left for what most people consider normal human warmth. However, it is abundantly clear that she is highly intelligent and knows her stuff. After one meeting with her, after years of searching for a competent doctor, dealing with a highly complex and poorly understood illness, she prescribed me a medication, off-label, that helped me dramatically. When I called her later to update her on my progress, she seemed genuinely pleased to hear of my improvement. I do wish she had explained more of what she thought was the core issue with my illness (she didn't talk a lot besides the questions she asked me), but I have results from the treatment, so I can't really complain there. I personally couldn't care less about her lack of bubbly personality when she is so inventive, competent and does her job as well as she does.

Outstanding physician that really cares about her patients. I can not say enough great things about her, she was the first physician to truly give me hope and a direction.

This gracious physician literally saved my life with her treatment and help to me. I had seen 13 specialists before I came to Mayo where the first wonderful physician ordered some tests, and then knew immediatley what my diagnosis was, the how to give me appropriate help, which today has made me a worthwhile citizen again.
