Not happy with Dr. Guzman. My first visit, I waited an hour to see him. Second visit was for an ultrasound, again I had to wait an hour to see him. Everyone else that came in after me was seen before me. Then I was told he was finishing up a procedure and would be able to see me as soon as was done. This office doesn't check your urine for signs of preeclampsia and did not measure me even once in the 4-5 visits that I had with them. I do not recommend them.

Dr. Guzman used to be wonderful! He even delivered my child. However, his office staff has changed quite often and not for the better. When I went in for my yearly, he barely spent 5 minutes with me. When I had a problem, the office said the doctor would call back that day or the next since he was currently with patients. However, that whole week went by without a return phone call.

Me and my fiance sit here and read some of these reviews and we have never had any problems. My fiance has had two kids and doctor Guzman was the doctor for those two and our one now. He answers all of our questions and is helpful when we really needed him. So for those bad reviews we believe they are lies..

I have been seeing Guzman since week 5 of my pregnancy (now 36 weeks) and he has been amazing. He has never rushed me, has answered all of my questions, and has been supportive of my decision to VBAC. Of course I have had to wait before, as will you when you visit any other Doctor. The nurses are very friendly and helpful as well. Very happy so far.

I had a different doctor with my first two, but was unhappy with the experience so I decided to go with Dr. Guzman. I've heard different things from different people. When I first started seeing him I had no problems. He ran tests he needed to run and sat and answered all our questions. But it seems like now towards the end of my pregnancy, he is always rushed and I never get any of my questions answered. Plus, I will sit in the waiting room until my appointment, and then the nurses will take me in and weigh me and everything, and then ill wait another 45 minutes just for Dr. Guzman to come in and spend a whole 3 minutes with me. I've been to the hospital twice for dehydration and early labor and both times we were able to stop it, but all i get told is drink more water. Obviously, thats not working or I wouldnt have gone in there the second time. Dr. Guzmans a great dr, but there is no dr. patient relationship.

Switched from one Dr to Dr Guzman. He had no idea what he was doing. I transferred to him with him knowing I was carrying twins. He saw my babies on an ultrasound for the first time as his patient and looked surprised, like he couldn't handle it. I asked him several times would he be able to care for me, he said yes. Started having complications at 20 weeks. His only option for me was terminate my babies because he wasn't equipped to care for babies that early in gestation. Didn't refer to another Dr or hospital. Which I had to figure out on my own. And gave me vaginal suppositories that made my water started leaking after 2 days. Also looked up the drug they prescribed me and it said do not take for multiples because it won't work. So they pretty much gave me a medicine to shut me up. Refused to stop my labor. And by the time I signed myself out of the hospital and out of his care no one would help me. Ended up transferring to Sarasota memorial.

I will not be returning to Dr Guzman. Long wait time, difficult exam and painful. I had seen Dr Guzman years ago and was please. My experience has since changed.

I had to find a doctor quickly. Many turned me down as they found my pregnancy high risk as I had not been able to see one for 3 months while pregnant. After calling 10 doctors and two hospitals Dr. Guzman agreed to see me. My baby was fine & I so appreciated him willing to help. I was leary of a male doctor however he is very professional and made me feel at ease. All concerns were answered & while I had a difficult schedule to keep up as I don't have my own transportation they worked with me. I could not have had a better experience with any doctor. He listens, asks questions, and gives information. The nursing staff is just as caring. I rated a 4 on, on time only because the office was always packed but I take it as a good sign of a doctor when so many people are wiling to see him. In a time when it's easy to feel ripped off or like another number this office is a rare find. Even though what brought me to them was nobody else willing help it was a blessing to have found them.

Dr. Guzman is great. He's kind, knowledgeable, and professional. He and his staff always make me feel comfortable, and when I had my daughter he made my husband comfortable too. He always answers questions and always apologizes if he's running late due to deliveries. I don't mind because it shows that he's willing to spend time with each of his patients when they need him. I highly recommend him as a physician.

My husband and I think the world of Dr. Guzman. He is very pleasant and is always smiling. He always puts me at ease. Dr. Guzman brought our beautiful son into this world and we are forever grateful to him. So when I find out I was expecting again I couldn't imagine going to anyone else. I would recommend Dr. Guzman to anyone who's serious about their female health.
