Had a much better experience with Dr. Hintz than with another practice in the area.

I absolutely love Dr. Hintz and his nurses. He delivered my son and I've seen him up until my 7th month for my daughter. If it weren't for my insurance changing I would stay with him. He and his nurses are very knowledgeable and caring.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Hintz after hearing he was a great doctor, only to find he was very rude and disrespectful. My appointment was set up to be a consultation, so I could find a new OB in this area. His nurse was very short with me and not friendly at all. After explaining again why I was there and a bit of my history (which she had asked for) she states she was just going to bring the doctor in so I didn't have to explain everything twice (fine by me). Dr. Hintz walks in stone faced, and unfriendly, accuses me of "self-diagnosing", and very rudely tries to tell me I will not find a doctor around here who can treat me (completely not true). He was very disrespectful, in the mere 3 minutes I was in the room with him, and highly uneducated in modern medicine. After telling me I would have to go somewhere else, he walked out of the room and disappeared. If I could rate him zero stars I would. He is a disgrace to the medical field and to humans.

I was in labor with our midwife and needed extra assistance. Dr. Hintz was the doctor on call. He was absolutely wonderful! He was on no rush and all for letting me deliver my baby the way my body needed. He is caring, patient, knowledgeable, & funny. I would recommend him to anyone!

As a neuortic control freak, Dr. Hintz was the perfect ob for me during my pregnancies. His knowledge, humor, and matter-of-fact demeanor gave me a much needed sense of relief so I could thoroughly enjoy both pregnancies and deliveries. He was just what the doctor ordered!

I ended up having to have an emergency c-section with my first child and Dr. Hintz was the one who performed my surgery. He talked me through everything that was going on, the exact reasons why I needed to have a c-section and had the most excellent bedside manner of any doctor I have ever been to. I didn't realize until after I'd already selected another doctor that he actually had his own practice in the hospital that I go to for this pregnancy otherwise I would be using him as my OB for this baby too.

I love Dr. Hintz and his nurses. I am a type 1 diabetic and they were always giving me advice and helping me through my pregnancy. I enjoyed my experience with Dr. Hintz and can't wait to have another baby and visit them once again.

surgeon performed a surgery and was a misdiagnosis. Surgeon did not perform all the tests preop to determine the true diagnosis. He basically said after I was a mess from it and traumatized, "You just have too many problems and hung up on me." Very sad and have extensive medical bills and health problems due to the wrongful surgery. Staff very unfeeling also. Surgeon who tookorgans out without truely needing to. How could he not do preop tests to determine the right diagnosis and make sure he didn't damage a patient. My kids and family have suffered along with me. No medical compensation for his mistake and no apology. Be careful who you go to. I treat people with kindness and caring and could not sleep if I did this to any human being. Penniless, depressed and trying to stay afloat. In support groups. How do people make these huge errors as a physician whom i did trust and now don't respect at all.
