My experience with Dr. Werner was awful. I visited his office on two occasions. Both times, I was taken from the exam room and asked to meet with Dr. Werner in his own personal office space which was in the back of the building. He did not want the lights on while we were in there, but there was some natural light coming in. He wanted to know details of my six life, specifically the step-by-step rundown of how my partner and I go about having six. Of course, I didn’t share them with him. It seemed like Dr. Werner was more concerned about my six life than the medical concerns that I was there to see him for. He is a creep and I don’t plan to return there.

Love Dr.Werner and his staff. We were unsure at first but as our pregnancy progressed we felt more and more at ease with him.

I also find the negative comments about Dr. Werner hard to believe.

He has delivered 2 of my babies, and a third is coming soon. I had severe complications with the first and I truly believe it was Dr. Werner's thorough care that saw us through it. He was always truthful with me and when I had an abnormal pap and cried during a procedure because I was so afraid it was cancer and made a point to comfort me. Excellent bedside manner. When I had pre-eclampsia with my first at 37 weeks, he got us through it. When I wanted a vbac with my 2nd and at 42 weeks nothing was happening, I was confident his decision to deliver via cesarean was the right choice.

I have never EVER encountered a rude staff member and the ultrasound tech was incredible.

I would recommend Dr. Werner to absolutely anybody. My husband and I feel like he has handled my health and our baby's health with skill and smart decision making.

I think the longest I have ever waited to be seen was 15 mins and that is NOTHING compared to other offices.

Staff is rude. It takes forever to get an appointment, and the staff doesn't respect the fact that other people have jobs that are important, too.

I find most of these comments leaving me questioning if we are talking about the same doctor. I LOVE Dr. Werner and his staff. So caring and helpful. He is very quick with exams, which may feel abrupt to some, but it is just a regular check up, so what else are you expecting to happen? He always asks if I have any questions. If I don't, he says see you again soon. If I do, he sits and listens and answers honestly. It is sometimes not at all what I want to hear. I was having a lot of discomfort and feeling pretty miserable. His reply was "you're pregnant. Uncomfortable happens" Having left another practice where I couldn't get the docs to stop finding reasons to test for this or ultrasound for that, I found it very refreshing that his standard of care was very laid back, buy never negligent. He told me out right (after expressing my frustration with the other practice) "we will deal with any problems IF and when they come up, but we aren't in the habit of digging around looking for them. You need to stay relaxed and enjoy being pregnant." Nothing bad to say about this man! The ultrasound tech I really like as well. She is great! Thurough and always happy to answer questions. Front desk is also great. Highly recommend this practice! !

Staff is rude, long wait for Dr. Werner compared to other doctors in the practice, old, dumpy and outdated office. There are much nicer facilities in Midland. Dr. Werner always seems rushed and doesn't listen to what you have to say. He's just trying to get patients through the door.

The initial impression of Dr. Werner was similar to others. He seems rushed, short, abrupt. However, after delivering our first child with no complications, we were highly impressed with his bedside manner. In the end, he may be short and abrupt but he is highly educated and that's what really matters the most. Knowledge and education will always hold more weight than personality conflicts or others factors. However, I will say that the Ultrasound Technician is absolutely horrendous to work with. I was never told to drink water for my 20 week appointment but showed up and was told I required water for the Ultrasound to be completed. She was rude for no reason to us and had it not been for my happiness with Dr. Werner, I would be immediately leaving this practice due to her rude, mean, short and abrupt behavior. I would hire a new Ultrasound technician, as soon as possible. For this, I rate the practice a 2/5 Stars in my book.

Staff was excellent here. The doctor himself was a different case entirely. He was fine for the first year I saw him as a normal patient. Once I became pregnant with my son is when I started having problems. Whenever you had an important question that needed to be answered, he would never give you a direct answer. And he was very callous and uncaring the week before I went into labor with my son. I ended up having him a month early and had to deliver at a different hospital for his safety. But because of the way I had been treated by Dr Werner, I was actually much more comfortable delivering with a doctor I had never met before then my doctor I had seen since before my pregnancy. I do not recommend seeing this man.

I was very surprised to see the negative comments about Dr. Werner so I felt obligated to chip in. He saw me through my two pregnancies and delivered my second child (for the first he was out of town but his partner did a great job). I flabbergasted that people find he dismisses their concerns or treats them rudely. That is the OPPOSITE of the doctor I know. I have always found him to be very kind and caring, with a great bedside manner. He always took time to answer my questions and was never rude at all. I highly recommend him and his friendly staff!
