I was extremely disappointed on every level. My first appointment he was over an hour late and I was awaiting a colposcopy to find out if I had cervical cancer. Not exactly ideal to sit and worry for an hour. My second visit was even worse. I came in with two pages of questions about my biopsy results and he kept talking to me about smokers and their prognosis (I am not a smoker and never have been one) and about individuals with HIV and their prognosis (I am HIV negative). I wanted to know about my situation and to gain more information in order to make a better informed decision on how to proceed. It was clear that he thinks surgery is the answer for everything when it is strongly advised by many others doctors for me NOT to have surgery. It was clear that he doesn't care at all and is just out to make money. In addition, i still didn't get all my questions answered and he got up and just walked out of the room. He treated me like I was very promiscuous when I haven't even gone on a date since 2011. He also said that all girls under 21 are already HPV positive and should have surgery. I recommend finding someone else.

Dr. Spence has been my and my daughter's gynecologist for many years. He listens to you, answers your questions, and explains what you need to know to make a decision. He learned from my experiences and used that information to treat my daughter. We have been truly blessed with the best doctor and he has taken good care of both myself and my daughter. I, personally, had advanced endometriosis and he had a very difficult surgery, with many surprises. I, simply, could not have had a better doctor. He has hung in their with us and we greatly appreciate it.

This was my first pregnancy, so I wasn't sure what to expect throughout the process. Dr. Spence took the time to educate (very important!) my husband and I on each step of the pregnancy and what to expect. He was always energetic, smiling and was excited to see us. He took great care of me and my new baby throughout the entire pregnancy and was sensitive to my needs throughout. He's one fantastic DR!

dr spence is the best doctor,,,i had to have surgery due to cerivcal cancer and was so affraid,but dr spence spent alot of time talking to me and was so great to me after surgery,my mom and my aunt now go to him as well.....

Dr. Spence delivered my two youngest children. He was always very helpful, and listened to my concerns. He also saved my youngest child's and my life. We had a very scary pregnancy, and Dr. Spence was the best. Having a very dangerous thinning of the uterus, and a fifteen inch blood clot in my leg was a lot of stress during the pregnancy, but Dr. Spence was very attentive, and detailed. I would recommend Dr. Spence to everyone!!! Oh, yeah, I also love the singing of "Happy Birthday" during the c-sections! Thanks Dr. Spence!

IF there is anything I can say about Dr. Spence is that he is one of the very best doctors in this town. As his patient and as a nurse the quality of care you will receive from him is Outstanding. He truly cares about you his patient and works hard to do his best. He is very knowledgable and I would trust him to make good quality decision in my/your care. Please do yourself a favor and consider him as your doctor. I can't imagine you would not be happy. The best part.... he sings Happy Birthday to your baby! He is just awesome!

Dr. Spence is always upbeat, happy, smiling. Remembers details about his patients that make you feel like less of a number.
