To put it into simplest terms, doctor Shahem is phenomenal. He puts the patient's concerns before anything and will go out of his way to go above and beyond your expectations of the perfect pregnancy experience. He addresses all your questions with educated responses and made my the birth of my first daughter easier than I ever could have imagined. Love him and would recommend him to any woman looking for a professional.

I am a first time mother, with that being said i have been a nervous wreck my whole pregnancy. dr shahem and his staff are always there for me, to answer my questions, take my calls, and theyre never rude or impolite. id recommend him to anyone i know.

I have been going to this Dr for years but when I was pregnant with my 1st child Dr Shaem sent me to a high risk Dr. Dr Webeh. I was told my child had no kidneys and would be severely retarded. I changed the high risk Dr and submitted all paperwork to dr Shaem who still insisted I abort pregnancy. I now have a beautiful healthy baby boy of 3 months. The problem was with me and not my baby. If I stuck with these doctors my baby would not be here today.

Dr. Shahem is a caring and very knowledgeable doctor. I am always pleased with the amount of time and care he takes with me. I have PCOS and hypothyroidism, and have suffered two miscarriages. Dr. Shahem is helpful, attentive and has the best bedside manner. You can tell he takes his CE seriously and provides great advice on how to deal with the issues I have. His staff is caring and provides great service despite how busy they are. I highly recommend this doctor.

If you want c-section,induced labor and are not interested in making decisions when it comes to your own labor, this doctor is the one to go to. He dismissed my husband's and my comments on making a birthing plan. I had a perfect pregnancy, but started having very slightly elevated blood pressure towards the end.There was no protein in my urin and blood pressure was only 130/90 sometimes. Dr.Shahem insisted that I go to the hospital to get "monitored" and checked for pre-eclampsia. He said I should be induced just to be "safe". We went to the hospital on the day he told us to.They ran the tests,my blood pressure was slightly elevated at first and then went back to normal. No protein in urina and they took blood test as well. BEFORE the test results were ready, they received instructions from the doctor to induce me. It was my first baby, so we were nervous and had to follow dr's orders. Results came back negative, by the way. Dr.Shahem laughed at me with nurses when I refused epidural.

Not as knowledgable as you expect, he made an error which made me have to change OB at 20 weeks.
