Dean is a great and caring doctor ... now getting in on time is another thing!

I consulted Dr. Dean Boorujy concerning a serious illness. His staff was great in helping me make the appointment and welcomed me as a new patient. I was very impressed with the doctor's approach. He made me feel at ease and was very thoughtful. I have recommended him to family and friends.

I'm extremely surprised to see some of the comments on here. I'd imagine a lot of these people would change their opinion if confronted with a serious medical problem and had to depend on Dr. Boorujy like I did. I explained to him the severity of my symptoms, came to him multiple times, frequently called his office updating them on how my problem was worsening (rudely ignored each time); yet he refrained from referring me to a specialist while continuing to treat me under an inaccurate diagnosis. It wasn't until I ended up in the ER at St. Barnabas (4 months later, 40 lbs lighter, weak and unable to work) that I was provided with an accurate diagnosis and sent to a surgical specialist who helped me recover within 2 weeks. When the ER physician who was quickly able to figure out the source of the problem was told who my primary care doctor was, he rolled his eyes as if he was not surprised, which is why I am so surprised to see these comments on here. Probably his office staff...

not only a very good doctor... he is very in -tune with his patients, is compassionate and a generally good person.

Puts on a great show, much angst & sincerity . . . . & then doiesn't return calls. Refers patients who may really be ill to "specialist" medi-factories, where you can take a number, and be then be tearted like one. And they don't return calls either. His staff excels at explaining to you why they didn't do anything wrong, and his collections hound can be eccusatory and abusive when the carrier errs. Do NOT expect anything like real service out of this office. Frankly, there's a lot better out there.

DR. BOORUJY IS THE BEST. I WILL NEVER GO TO ANYONE ELSE. THE ONLY THING THE OFFICE WAITING ROOM NEEDS IS A T.V., OTHERWISE EVERYTHING ELSE IS EXCELLENT.

My PCP for a few years now. Very attentive and inquisitive about your physical health. Great staff service as well and the office seems like you're at a neighbor's house.

Very thorough. Sometimes keeps you waiting because he is being thorough with another patient. Always apologizes and explains. He is my PCP for as long as I am in this area.

Dr. gives each patient the time they need. He never tries to rush you in and out. Has a great manner, easy to talk to and willing to listen. I needed a dr. of his calibre.
