Dr. Eilen pulled out my placenta afterbirth : she prescribed hormones that eventually led to a blood clot ( she was sloppy researching my past pulmonary embolism and clot in my leg) she prescribed hormone therapy, and I ended up with blood clot, toe amputation, and life long warfarin usage. I Do NOT recommend this ob/gyn , especially, if you have past history. She treated me like a normal patient, even though I wà 38 years old with past issues. She is not Thorough or reliable . I was back in the hospital with an infection because she was in a hurry to get to a holiday event after the birth of my son. My son is now 26, living at home, and I'm on warfarin regimen for the rest of my life. No thanks to Dr. Eilen& her negligence.

I have been a patient of Dr. Eilen's for a few years now and I have never had a complaint about her. When I was pregnant the first time; I went for my ultrasound where I was able to see the baby; when I went in to see Dr. Eilen she had to give me the news that I was miscarrying and my pregnancy would not be successful. She had hoped my body would pass the baby naturally but ended up doing a D & C. I had emailed her constantly while waiting with questions and she always answered me by the end of day; always being supportive and helpful. A year later when I got pregnant with my son; she was always a step ahead on my treatment and care and because of her good judgement to deliver me 2 weeks early; she saved my sons life because upon deliver they found my placenta was bad and my son was starving for weeks. Because of Dr. Eilen; my 15 month old son is here, alive and well. She may be quiet and reserved but she is noting short of amazing, caring, smart and a very diligent doctor.

Dr. Eilen and others in the practice have been my docs for the better part of 17 years and she even delivered my son. She HAS NO PERSONALITY! I recently had an ultrasound and it took her almost a week to get the final results that my fibroid had gotten bigger. When I asked why it took so long to get the results, she replied that she was out of town and even tried to chastise me as to why I would be worried that it would be something more serious! She defended herself by saying "I'm doing the best I can." I quickly put her in her place. Drs. Jhang and Mc Govern are the best and most compassionate physicians and I let Eilen know this is why I haven't scheduled with her in almost 6 years. Ladies, take my advice, go with Jhang and Mc Govern. Eilen's heart is just not in it.

I went for a regular checkup. We did an intrauterine ultrasound and found a growth. I was told I needed surgery to remove growth. Dr eilen supposedly doesn't do these surgeries so one of the other doctors did the surgery. I never got called back to let me know test results on growth. Which I was worried about. The receptionists were hard to reach and very nasty WhenYou reach them. I wod never got back to this practice.

I was having horrible stomach pains and stopped getting my period for a few months. Every month I would call up Dr. Eileen, and get the same text book answer, not to worry I must have changed something in my diet or be stressed. I repeatedly told her something was wrong and I had been on the same pill since I was 18 (25 now) and never missed a period before. Months later I took myself to the hospital with horrible pains (I called her first and she was still unwilling to see me). It turned out I had 3 cysts on my ovary. I would not recommend Dr. Eileen. I just found a new doctor who is attentive and willing to spend ample time during visits (and in between).

I saw her for the first time last week. She is very calm, gentle, and takes the time to answer all of your questions. I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family.

Dr Eilen is both my gyn and my ob! I have been seeing her for 20 years and will NEVER go to anyone else. She helped me deliver my twin girls naturally and was the most helpful and caring doctor during an extremely trying pregnancy! I would recommend her and the other doctors in her group any day!!!!

I have been seeing Dr. Bonnie Eilen for 20 years and find her to be an excellent doctor. I have recommended her to my friends who also had positive experiences with her. I was truly surprised at the negative comments here. I just visited her today and found her, as always, to be gentle, thorough, anxiety-defusing, and responsive to my questions. She is actually on this community's "Best doctors" list, a list compiled by her peers. I recommend her without reservation.
