Dr. Spencer has been my doctor for the better part of 12 (?) years. My old doc was retiring and I lucked out. He may be quiet and no nonsense, however he is knowledgeable, a good listener, thorough and compassionate. If you're sick, you couldn't ask for better care. I was referred to the General Hospital for some day surgery and the personnel processing my pre-op regarded him highly. His new admin is wonderful. You're lucky if you get him!

I just wanted to write about the secretary, very rude and unprofessional. I had an appointment with the adjoining doctor (Nagpal) I have 4 kids and that day had no help. The office is stocked with toys and the kids were playing, meanwhile the secretary was rolling her eyes the whole time because of the noise. (Hmm...noise came from the toys that were provided in office.) There was one other patient who was in the office and talking to the kids so it certainly wasn't bothering anyone. When I left, as the door was shutting she made some rude comments out to the waiting room about that was awful, thank god they are gone. I just think this is maddening, lady you are in costumer service, dealing with patients and patient families of all ages, make ups and sickness. A little patience would be called for.

Dr Spencer has gone beyond the call of duty more than once for our family. We are very appreciative.

Excellent doctor, knowledgeable, kind, and caring. Although there are times that you know he's not haveing a good day. But I would never change him, I trust his judgement, and to me that's whats important. Regarding his secretary. I have read the other comments on her. I don't know what you have done to her to make her out to be a such b.... Have you whoever you are tried to change your approach with her? I know the referrals are done through her and she is punctual with them. You people need to stop and think about it. Most referral are sent to a specialist office and the appointments are booked by them ater the specialist decides the priority of the medical concern. Speaking for myself, I have always found her to be proficient, nice and friendly. She doe's a good job for Dr. Spencer. Together they are a good team.

Been going to him for 15 yrs.. excellent doctor, practical, no-nonsense approach, don't bother "whining" ... good network of specialists behind him.. highly recommended ..

Dr. Spencer is very knowledgeable and extremely professional, I have never once been kept waiting and even had an emergency appointment that was given without any issues.

Have been a patient of Dr. Spencer's for over 25 years. He has been great for the most part and has helped me and my family through a few tough bouts, although occasionally I feel like I am wasting his time, have yet to see a doctor who doesn't have a bit of that. Unfortunately, his receptionist is extremely difficult to deal with. Not only is it practically impossible to get through by phone, we've had delays in referrals and less than kind interactions over the years.
