I have been seeing Dr. Bullen for a couple of years now and know what a couple of other people mean when they talk about her poor bedside manners. When I first saw her I was a bit unsure of her because my previous doctor had been very outgoing and chatty. Since I have got used to her dry sense of humour (yes, she does have one) and sometimes abrupt ways, I have found her to be an excellent doctor. She has great follow-up, has referred me to specialists without hesitatio and has overall been very thorough. Personally, I have found it best to take a sheet with my questions/concerns into my appointment. She doesn't have a lot of time for umm-ing and ahh-ing, but she does take the time to answer any questions you have. My last appointment I had four different areas to discuss with her and was able to get everything answered to my satisfaction.

Well she certainly doesn't seem to have a bedside manner as she can be sarcastic, & abrupt. I thought social skills, were a part of their training. Dr. Bullen needs to revisit that area. She asked me questions reflecting back to a few years back, I corrected her assumptions and she kept on with the same question, comment, stand on the topic which was wrong. I told her 3 X's and figured to hey with it. I do not know if she is a good doctor or not, she is not easy to speak to, she abruptly leaves the room, comes back tells you do this, this, this and I'll see you in a few weeks. I have no answers to my questions???? I felt defeated and lost, I have a major issue which she totally blew over. I do not know.....................

When you enter the office you will be greeted by a very friendly and efficient receptionist. She gets ultra high ratings from me. Dr. B is punctual and friendly enough with a dry sense of homor that you will need to become accustomed to. Some concerns with her are related to lack of medical knowledge/ full understanding of some disorders. Thankfully she is quick to refer to an appropriate specialist and she fully follows the process through until your concerns are completely resolved or being dealt with. She doesn't score high with me for bedside manner as she can be sarcastic, abrupt or almost dismissive at times. Possibly her social skills need some brushing up on! Considering the shortage of doctors she is still definitely a doctor worth seeing and she would not be my last choice by far. A medium-high rating overall. I would also recommend her to family and friends. Feel confident seeing her but do your own additional research as an informed patient and be assertive!

I have been seeing Dr. Bullen for about 2 years. She is very up and down. Sometimes she is talkative with a neat sense of humor and other times she is distant and almost a bit cold. She does seem very concerned and pays attention to your issues.

she is great. you can get in to see her right away, no sitting in the waiting room, gets appointments for tests and other doctors right away, kind and understanding. hopefully she doesn't leave wpg

I would not recommend this doctor for children. She has no bedside manner with them. She actually told me to come in with one child, only to turn on me when we got there in front of my 3 kids. When I said that we would leave if she had a problem, she said fine. So we left with her never seeing my child. How do you explain to a child who askes "Why won't the doctor see me?" It pissed me off because she told us to come in. She tries to be informative but has no personality. And to not treat a child is horrible!!!

I have been with the doc for 3-4 years and am very impressed with her and also like the receptionist very much..she never rushes you and takes the time to LISTEN is very thorough

I went in to talk to her about getting preg. she treated me like i was 15, and like it was only myself, not my hubsand and i, that wanted to have a baby. once my husband came to an appointment with me, did she finally take me seriously.

Excellent Doctor, she has helped me threw injury and recovery, I highly recommend Dr B. because she is kind, compassionate, understanding, realistic and very very smart.

Dr. Bullen was first class in explaining my concerns. She is very kind and I congratulate her for her professionalism and mannor. I just recently started to see her at her new practice since her move and both her and the new reception/nurse front desk are at the top of my list for referrals to see. I thank them for making a uneasy time for me very livable.
