I was very unhappy with the nurses at Dr.Lilly's office, my son was born with jaundice and at his 2nd day appointment he was looking alot more yellow...I was sent to get lab work done. Nobody ever called with the results and after two days I called...the nurse said it was normal and didnt give me the exact bilirubin level. Needless to say at his next appointment it turned out his levels were exremely high and suprisingly his body recovered without needing the light. I told the doctor how upset I was with her staff and her reply was they probably were busy and didnt have time to check his chart. A week later, my son showed signs of thrush..it was a weekend but I called hoping for a cell number or something.All I got was call the hospital if its an emergency. I have never had a doctor who didnt have a personal number...I wasnt going to the ER with a dozen sick people with a newborn who has thrush. I found a new doctor the next day, who we are very happy with!
