lacks compassion- shows little interest in patient care. Has violated patient confidentiality on more than one occasion.

Dr. Smith has been my physician for many years, I recently found out that he will leaving his practice for a more challenging career, I do wish him the best. Just sorry to see him go. He has been a very good and caring doctor. There may have been a few times that I may have felt he was rushed or abrupt, but sometimes we forget that our doctors are human being and not gods. Therefore we expect soo much or too much from them. I feel as a patient that if I have a responsibility to work with my doctor and if I am not satisfied with the service provided, to be honest and diplomatic about it and talk to my doctor. We might realize that the abruptness might just be that the doctor had a bad day, hence they have feelings too. I have always felt that Dr. Smith had my best interest at heart. The only problem I have is trying to get thru to get an appointment. The telephone is constantly busy, busy, busy. Hopefully this will be addressed. Best wishes to you Dr. Smith in your new job.

Dr Smith has been our family doctor since we moved to Moncton over 20 years ago. He has always answered any concerns or questions that we have had. When my husband became very ill and didn't know what was wrong, Dr Smith consulted with a neurosurgeon over two hours with my husband in the office with him to confirm that he had GBS. Without his intensive interest and caring to find the cause of the illness I do not think that my husband would be with me today. Dr Smith is a knowledgeable, caring and concerned Doctor who listens to you about your concerns and then makes the decision that has to be made in regard to the concern. Will definitely miss him while he is at Dalhousie, but he is really doing an excellent job in upgrading the service of Doctors in New Brunswick

Dr. Smith has been my doctor since I was a child and now he is my children's doctor. He listens to what I am telling him is going on inside MY body and doesn't try to convince me what I feel is not there. He has always taken the time to cover my concerns and answer my questions. I find him easy to get along with and very knowledgable. A wonderful choice to teach other up and coming doctors. The only complaint would be the difficulty in getting through on the phone lines but this is not a reflection on his abilites as a doctor. All our doctors are overworked and a small wait is to be expected. I have never had a problem getting in to see him in a timely fashion, especially if the appointment was concerning one of my children. I feel very lucky to have him as a doctor.
