Gabriel is a good doctor., caring and knowledgeable., though over worked which detracts from his performance However he ,or his staff keep patients waiting at least an hour before they get to see him. This is discourteous. Since his staff know he will be late all the time why don't they just schedule accordingly. This will get more serious when the high parking rates kick in at the new facility.

Dr. Gabriel has been my family physician since he took over Dr. Phillips practice. While he is extremely nice he is also not diligent when it comes to following through with referrals to other people who could help you. I am currently dealing with scoliosis and degenerative disc disease, he’s not sent me for a consultation anywhere else. I am in extreme pain and he will not prescribe medication for me and even told me recently after being extremely hesitant to give me Tylenol two “Not to get addicted to it” I found that extremely rude and unnecessary. Every time I go there I wait for at least an hour and a half even if I arrive 15 minutes early for my appointment. I am always rushed out the door and made to feel as though he has no time for me. I have noticed that a lot of people here say how he doesn’t remember them. I disagree with it however he could know who I am because he’s known me since I was 11 years old. Generally I Really do you like Dr. Gabriel but you need to get more in tune with your patients needs and do better with the wait times you are a good person but I am frustrated really frustrated.

Dr. Gabriel was recommended to me by my doctors and I regret every having to leave my doctor that I had for 24 years. If I could give his staff a negative rating i would. They left me a week without my prescription that I am supposed to take every day. She then said it was not her job to call me. They only prioritize elderly patients. I have waited weeks for an appointment and when I get there wait for hours and watch elderly people walk in a get an immediate appointment. Just because I am under 30 doesn't mean I don't have health issues of my own. When you do meet with Dr Gabriel he never remembers who you are or what you have discussed in the past and doesn't even take the time to read your chart or history. My medical care suffered in going to this doctor. My daughter is behind on vaccinations because he always says she is sick even when she is fine.
DO NOT HR THIS DR. EVER!!!

Doctor Bob is incredibly wonderful. He is caring, very able & devoted to his patients. If he is delayed from time to time, it is because he is attending to a serious case at the hospital. His patients are treated as people by both him and his staff - not as "billing numbers". He is available , often into the latter evening. As I write this, I see that you have ranked him as # 72 out of 333 doctors ; if so there must be 71 other saints in Oakville.

Wonderful, caring doctor with a warm bedside manner. My 92 year old father had knee surgery, and Dr. Gabriel was at the hospital almost every day, checking on my Dad's progress and offering encouragement. I feel so fortunate that Dr. Gabriel is my dads GP. We couldn't ask for anyone better.
