Dr. Sauer was our daughter's emergency room pediatrician today, Christmas day 2008. He was gentle, human, knowledgeable, patient and wonderful about explaining our daughter's condition, which is serum sickness with reactive arthritis. Dr. Saur was extremely thorough, paying meticulous detail to our daughter and our family's medical history, which lead him to run a battery of lab tests to rule out any underlying conditions. He carefully explained what we needed to watch out for and forwarded our lab results additional medical specialists in order to expedite medical attention toward our daughter should we would need to return. Additionally, Dr. Sauer made us a follow-up appointment to see our pediatrician tomorrow, whom we later realized was his wife. Our daughter has been in the best of hands, and will continue to be so. What a Christmas gift to have a "tag team" with such a good line of communication! We truly feel blessed to have received such top-notch care for our daughter.
