I've been a patient of Dr. Gandler's since I believe 1997. While some find him abrasive I find him very good at his job. His bedside manner might not be understood by all but in an odd way I find that unique.
He may run late but I know he will give just as much time for my appointment. Most doctors give you a 15-30 minute appointment. Dr. Gandler takes the time you deserve and that is warranted. He is a phenomenal doctor and his staff is very competent. There's not enough doctors like him!

I was very displeased with my last visit to Dr. Gandler because he was consumed with personal business during my exam. He was just over an hour late for my appointment and that probably pushed back his lunch. He seemed irritated and rushed. During my exam he called a car dealership to see if his car was ready for pickup. Dr. Gandler's bedside behavior was insensitive and wrong.

I am very pleased with Dr. Gandler. He is very thorough and understands what I feel. After 20 visits to emergency and multiple visits to my pcp, Dr. Gandler was able to diagnose me and treat me properly. I am very happy to be Dr.Gandler's patient.

After seeing Gandler for more than a year for severe inflammatory arthritis, I finally realized that he seems to care nothing whatsoever about my health and well being and is instead obsessed only with avoiding a malpractice lawsuit. At first I thought the long examinations with him fondling my toes and fingers were for my benefit, but I now see it was only to cover his own rear-end in case of legal troubles. My advice is to avoid this "doctor" like you would the plague and find someone else.

i cancelled my first eval after reading the paperwork for new patients. as a health care worker, i have to question the ethics of a physician that advises you will need to pay $400 out of pocket if you need him to complete a form, per form. paperwork is part of the business! although i do not anticipate needing any forms completed, i do not want to invest in an unethical physician's practice.

Patient of Dr. Gandler 10+ years! His staff are courteous and go out of their way to help a patient.I recommended his practice to every other Immunologically impaired person who asks me who I see. Be prepared for questions and more questions! But,he really listens to your answers! My "New Patient" Appointment lasted over 2 hours, by the end of it he knew more about me than any other Medical Professional I have seen.In the 10 years since he bacame my Reumatologist, I went to 5 different Internal Medicine Doctors because of life changes. He is the only Doctor I would not give up, even when I was without insurance for a time. I have Fibro, but also several other medical issues. His attention to my whole health and integrating that into his approach to diagnostic issues excels that of any Doctor (Internist or Specialist) I have seen in 56 years. My respect for him as a Doctor is so high I now drive 150+ miles just to see him!

One of the most bizarre appointments I have ever had with a Doctor. He only functions on his own level , won't meet yours. No weight taken , no BP , no proper examinations AND you had to answer all the questions the way he wanted you to. NO talking to him was allowed UNTIL he was done. 2 and half hours of hell. after which he didn't know what was wrong with me and offered me medications with no information, I didn't want medications I wanted help. Maybe I got him on a BAD day. Left me in shock and creeped me out. Micro manager possible Aspergers. waste of time and co pay.

We found office staff to be very helpful, polite, knowledgable and engaging. Our appointment started a bit late, due to a prior patient appointment (Dr. Gandler works in great detail with each patient). The amount of detail in the evaluation that he performed on my wife was absolutely incredible! At all levels, the office staff are very helpful and knowledgable ! I would recommend Dr. Gandler and staff to anyone and everyone...

Dr. Gandler's assistant is the rudest health worker I've ever encountered. Took 9 phones calls for them to screw up my appointment, and then deny me an appointment I already made indicating I was a new patient, when I wasn't. Scary!
