I went to Dr Parsons for many years
He delivered my children also. I was then diagnosed with RA. If I was having an issue he referred me immediately to any specialist that was necessary at the time. He was very knowledgable and always took the time to explain everything in detail! He was /is a wonderful physician!
Enjoy your retirement Dr Parsons! ๐Ÿ˜„

Dr. Parsons should not be allowed to be a doctor. If you are ten pounds over weight you can bet that all your medical problems will be because of that. He is only a good doctor if you are in perfect health. I was having gall bladder attacks for two years every time I went to him was told it was only in my head. Out of so much pain I went to a walk in clinic told the doctor the exact same symptoms and right away he told me it was my gall bladder! By this point I was having Gall bladder attacks every day, couldn't work or anything because of the pain. Dr Parsons also told me when I was 15 that I was not going to have children, and that my mother and sister had PCOS so that ment I did too. Not tests no anything. I would just like to say I have a very healthy one year old, and another on the way! He is a quack, should not practice medicine and finding a new family doctor was the best thing I ever did! He was my doctor for twenty years and delivered me.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. He was the doctor who delivered me and he has been my family doctor ever since. I was in for a checkup concerning my lungs one time and he noticed that the past year I had been to a psychologist and asked why. I told him I was in an abusive relationship and needed counciling. He then proceded to yell and shake his fist at me, told me it was all my fault I was in it. He did this for about 10 minutes straight while I sat there crying. The doctor from hell, I refuse to go see him anymore. Completely unprofessional, should not be allowed to be a doctor.

He was my fam. dr. since I was 4. In 2001 I broke my back and couldn't walk without crutches. Went to Parsons and was turned away immediately without even taking off my coat. He told me I was faking, and that I needed a phyciatrist. I went home again and my sister took me to Fall River to see dr. Mann who reacted right away. He got me to the QEii and underwent emergency surgery, and was told that I'd never walk again.I had surgery, and after 1&1/2 years, I learned to walk very weakly. I wrote to the college of physicians and after an investigation,he admitted wrong doing and they slapped him on the wrist [ and thats all it was ] for giving a maligning diagnosis, and failing to treat a patient with professionalism Thats the last of it for him. I tried to sue this quack, but couldn't find a Doctor who would take a stand against Capital Health even though every Dr. I've talked to was shocked to hear about this , but wouldn't go to bat. A lawsuit is what Parsns needs.

I have been a pt of this doctor for many years. Over time, I have noticed a decline in his personal attitude, his overall patience, and he can be down right (verbally)combative. His main foci appears to be patients that make too many appts for minor issues, those that are late for appts and those that neglect to show up without prior notice. There is no "3-strike" rule in this office. If you miss 2 appointments you are cast off to find another GP. That is a powerful bargaining chip-as the chances of procuring one is slim to nil. I feel as though I am being chastized at some visits but yet can be treated like a peer in others. I agree with the previous author: this doctor is overworked, and in my opinion, seems to have lost his zest for his profession. He should consider retirement and find inner happiness.

I had switched to this dr many years ago, because of family ties. I didn't go often, and found that every time I had an issue, he brushed it off. The last time I went to his office before I โ€œfiredโ€ him as my dr, was for a my personal choice. I wanted a second opinion of a gynaecologist, he had sent me too. I wanted to see a woman instead of a man (a reasonable request, no?) He flipped out. He said "why do you people always do this". He said something to the effect of there is nothing wrong with a male gyno, and you're being ****, and wasting my time. I must admit I was stunned, and he left his office without resolving my issue. It's my right to personal choice, without a doubt! I'm happier with my new dr. Other family has left to go elsewhere because of his arrogance, and his indifference. This was a couple years ago, and I look back on it now and realize he is overworked and burned out.
